I'm 23 Today

Yep, it's past Midnight in London I've become a year older. Not much to say as my Job has me working everyday except Christmas, not to say I had anything Special planed I do nothing particularly special no my Birthday so I honestly don't get that excited.

Being a teen and slowly losing self-esteem, these days felt like a flash in the pan, age really wasn't much of my concern seeing as I have never looked my age (I apparently look young for a bloke in my twenties) and that gives you a little baggage, the way your talked to, treated approached etc, when your a late bloomer to being interested in the opposite sex it doesn't help, but I'm an introvert so it's all relative.

Once I left school though getting older finally became comfortable again, so now i'm in the working world in a very comfortable work environment I'm feeling a little centred. by no means gleeful or even aprehensive, just mellow about it all.

Since I didn't and don't have parties what I/my mum usually do since I started Primary School was get a bunch of sweets and chocolates and stuff and give them out to my classmates, I haven't not done that since so I'm doing the same for work.

I don't know if I can maintain doing what i'm doing in life or living how I'm living but if it's anything like the past 3 or so months, I'm Okay

Happy birthday! I turned 23 this year as well. In fact, being born on March 23, this was my "Golden birthday." Which is odd, because mostly my year was shit. But I guess now that I'm on break and the mayhem is behind me, I feel better than I have in a long time and feel much more confident, so maybe it turned out ok after all.

I feel your pain on the baby face. People talk to you like you know nothing. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from a university and am in Graduate school. People have no right to speak to me like a child! It's frustrating.

Good choice on the music and I want some of that Dante cake. At first, I thought it was a Vash the Stampede from Trigun-themed cake.

To being an old man trapped in a young man's body! Cheers!
