This is huge problem, because I've been putting this off for sometime know and suddenly it's like

"Hey bro! It's okay, just buy me, give in to the need for proper controls for tablet games".

As most people with tablets know, gaming is kind of difficult with touch screen controls. Sure there are perpherals that help but Nvidia Shield just looks so damn sexy. Not mention as the picture that I've posted, the Shield is fifty dollars off and free shipping is being offered. Over the summer I was trying to play Deus Ex: The Fall on the iPad Mini and just gave up because of touch controls. Not to mention the PC Gaming streaming function, although you're going to need no serious PC rig to pull that off. But my main problem is a lot those high profile iOS games like Deus Ex: The Fall aren't always available on Android devices. Plus the a lot of games aren't probably going to support the Nvidia Shield right away. So yeah, this is kind of hard decision at the moment, I would  love to dive into Android gaming with this device; Nvidia is holding this offer until December 21. Check out their website if you are interested in the Shield as well.

Steam is holding another sale, so I bough Devil May Cry 3&4 that were being offered in a bundle, FEZ, The Stanley Parable and Aces of Spades which looks like Minecraft crossed with Team Fortress. Again my problem is my ISP isn't to giving with the bandwidth, I've only got 70 GBs to spare. Sharing with other people who don't understand bandwidth restrictions and whine when you don't have access the internet; kind of limits how much I want to down. Digital distribution just isn't there for most people.

The only retail games that I pick up this week was Sonic: The Lost World on the 3DS and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on the PS3 (which I think still has the best single player out of all CoDs). Picked up a few Blue-Rays as well like Elysium, The World's End along with Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead; a George Clooney triple feature with Syriana, Michael Clayton and Three Kings. Finally the X-Men trilogy for $15, which is nice although I'm still kind of weary of X3.

Pretty soon I'll be writing up the "my year in gaming/top games" blog.

Until the next blog.......

The shield is a neat idea, but $249 is way too steep in my opinion. I don't really play high end games or feel the need to when it comes to my Android device (phone), so it's not for me, really. I'd just buy a 3DS instead.

I think I will buy Fez today, though. At least I'll have one Steam game I'm pretty sure will actually work.

Let me know how Sonic: Lost World is. I want to see Elysium and actually watch the rest of The World's End I slept through in the theater. Might see if Red Box has that one. Congrats on getting the Cornetto trilogy. Right now, Hot Fuzz is far and away my favorite of those movies, but we'll see how I feel after I really watch The World's End.

I've never seen Syriana, and don't really care to, but I remember liking Michael Clayton, and I liked Three Kings a lot more than I thought I would.

I actually like X3. I mean it jumped the shark in a couple places, yes, but I never considered the first two high art and I find X3 pretty entertaining, so whatever.

So a trilogy of trilogies on Blu-Ray (and Elysium) for you, huh? I see what you did there.

Look forward to that year-end blog. I think mine will come soon as well.

I played with a Shield very briefly and found the depressed format very uncomfortable. Maybe you can adjust to it, but I was surprised at how bad it felt to me, personally. I haven't read anyone else complain about this, so maybe I am a freak with freak hands.

Looking forward to the year end blog too!
