Homelessrook and his time with the OUYA!

The first game I played on my OUYA is ChronoBlade.

Here is the Dowload area on the OUYA for ChronoBlade.

Here is a screen shot of me playing it.

Now, let me get to the system and controller.

The Controller is super responsive and feels great in my hands. The D-pad is not stiff and the Analogue sticks are very smooth in their motion. The Button placement is awesome as well.

Now for the System. The OUYA is very compact but puts out a full size gaming experience. The graphics are amazing, with stunning color. I played it for 4 hours straight and the box was a cool as a cucumber. I was expecting it to be a little hot for the size and the performance it was giving me, but no, the OUYA kept its cool.

All I can say is this, If you are a real gamer and you care about gaming, then you need one of these. With hundreds of games plus the ability to design games yourself, the OUYA has unlimited capabilities.

Until my next post! GAME ON! VIVA REVOLUTION! OUYA!

I backed Ouya on kickstarter and got it months ago.  Unfortunately, I havent used it much.  I may have to get Chrono Blade.

I am having a blast with it and ChronoBlade.  The OUYA is so worth the $99, even though I got it for Christmas.

That looks pretty slick! Heck, for $100, it's worth a shot. My only hesitation is how many other games I have sitting around to play already...

Glad you're enjoying it!

I was getting one this month anyway, but my mom beat me to it and got it for me for Christams.lol. The OUYA is well worth the $100.

Glad you like it. That's a nice looking start-up screen for Chrono Blade!

All the games that I have played so far look amazing on it.

I need to look up more videos for it. I think the game I played at SGC that someone had developed for it left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, cause it wasn't particularly good looking and fel like random nonsense to me. Here's hoping more like Chrono Blade are released for it, and glad you're having fun with it once again!

Happy to say Chronoblade is now the first Ouya game to make it on my list. I'll keep my eye out for any other exclusive games. Maybe I'll get one.

I would recommend getting one. Also ChronoBlade is a good start to gaming on it.

I might pick up one of these next year.  I got a Wii U for Xmas, and I really like the tech, but the online freaking sucks.  It took days for me to be able to download Zelda because the network was down, I suppose because of so many people using it.  I was pissed.

I like the tech though.  The gamepad feels better and is cooler than I thought it would be, and the graphics look great.  Mario has never looked so good.

I'm gonna get an Ouya sometime soon though in the next month or two though.  I want to be able to play some of those mobile games with a controller.

Oh yeah!

I am trying to win a Wii U in a drawing.

I have been following this one and the Steam Machine, both seem like really cool ideas. I will likely pick up the Ouya or the Steam system long before I ever consider either of the big boys. Glad to hear its worth the money.

This is my next gen machine. I have followed it since they announced its development. I wanted to support it on Kickstarter but never had the funds to.

Now I am curious.  I am not quite sold on the OUYA, but you have gotten me interested.

If I find it cheap someone I might give it a go. I have a few ports open on Game Rig Three in the basement.
