Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 origally released in Japan as simply persona 4 is a role playing game developed and published by Atlus for Sony ps2 and is the fifth installment in the Shin Megami Tensei series. It was released in Japan in March of 2009, it features a weather forcast system with events happening on foggy days to replace the moon phase on previous games. The release of the game in japan was also accompanied with retail merchandise revolving around the games theme such as character costumes and accessories. The north american packageof the game release with a CD with selected music from the game, the vocals by the way were by Shihoko Hirata and the music was by Shoji Meguro.
Like its predecessor Persona 3, Persona 4 gameplay mixes a traditional rpg with a simulation,the protagonist of persona 4 is a teenage boy, named by the player of course the game takes place over a course of a japanese school year, outside of the key events the protagonist atends school and can interact with other character and students,spend time at part time jobs to earn monet or engage in other activities,each day in persona 4 is broken down into different parts of time like morning,evening,afternoon certain activities are limited to certain times of days inaddition certain events are decided by certain time of the week or weather. by spending time with people the protagonist forms social links, freindships made with other characters as the game progresses each represented by one of the major Arcanna, social links start at rank 1 and go up as your relationship with people grow.

So at any rate persona 4 is an awesome rpg arguable the best rpg ever made and in my personal opinion is the best, the game is over a 100 + hours depending on what you do etc and it is posible to complete even sooner but you will miss alot of cool parts, in short dont miss playing this gem, and if you play rpgs and have not played any of the persona series, then your doing your self a great injustice by not playing this great rpg.
