I'm not usually one to make resolutions for the coming new year, but 2013 was a year of a bunch of changes, so why not try and make some more for the new year as well?
I'm also not gonna make some outlandish goals for myself, either. Just a few (hopefully) attainable ones that I won't flake out on achieving.
1- Get in shape: This one is self-explanatory, really. I'm tired of feeling like a schlub, so I want to change that about myself. I've already started a little, and hopefully I'll be able to keep it up during the coming year.
2- Stop living like a hermit: I've been leading a pretty sedentary life until now, but I'm getting pretty tired of it, as well. In the coming year, I hope to at least be a little more outgoing and not so isolated as I have been in the past. Not just in the real world either, so I apologize in advance (and retroactively, for that matter) for my poor communication skills. No matter how much I try I notice something off in just about everything I write, but I'm going to try harder to stop thinking like that and just go with the flow.
3- Read more: I used to be a pretty avid reader, but I've really fallen behind in the last two years or so. I've lost count of how many books I've picked up and haven't gotten around to actually read through. While I'm almost sure this is something that's going to take more than one year to wrap up, but I'll be fine if I manage to take a sizable chunk out of my backlog.
4- Fix my laptop: Ever since I had my laptop wiped after getting hit by a virus earlier this year, my laptop's been having this odd problem where the screen freezes whenever I have a browser active (and only when one's active, which is just odd). It's not too much of a problem, but it's annoying and I'm reaching my limit of tolerance for it happening.
Ok, I sincerly hope anyone reading this has a fantastic 2014, bye.
P.S. Even if you haven't, I hope you have one anyway.
