I feel the same as yourself for MGS V. I'm leaning towards just waiting for the inevitable Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain bundle
Games I Want in 2014

2014 looks good, but after 2013 it's pretty clear that any year after would be a step down. Still, here's a few of games I'm most excited for. Can't really think of ten games I'm super excited for, so here's eight
8. Infamous: Second Son
I'll be honest, the main reason I'm excited for this is to see how a PS4 exclusive I actually want to play as a game takes advantage of the hardware. I've always liked Infamous, but never really loved it that much. However, I do like the look of the game a lot more, as the characters look better than Cole and Zeke (not that it's hard to do that) while the mountain area looks new and interesting for an open world game. Hopefully the new powers are different also, though I'm expecting this guy to mostly be Cole with a twist in terms of gameplay.
7. Titanfall
I really loved what I played of Mechanical Assault 2 that one summer I had Live for my original Xbox. Sadly, the 360 never really got another great mech shooter. Chromehounds was alright and while I heard the Transformers games were good, I don't like that franchise at all. So Titanfall looks to be the mech shooter I've always wanted.
6. Metal Gear Solid V: The Ground Zeroes
Only number six because I have no idea what to expect from this. How long is it? How open is the game? Will Kojima offer the good kind of weird or bad kind of weird? Oh well, even when a MGS game isn't great like 2 or 4, they're always worth playing.
5. Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
I love the Ace Attorney series, but will admit that the investigations can drag on a lot. So replacing them with Professor Layton puzzles in a Puritan witch trial sounds like a great idea. Plus, Maya Fey will be back and I fucking love her.
4. Bayonetta 2
Bayonetta is one of my favorite action games, so I’m excited to get a part two with online co-op.
3. Kirby Triple Deluxe
Kirby’s Return to Dreamland was my favorite game from 2011, andTriple Deluxe looks to keep everything that made it fun with a few new ideas to keep things fresh.
2. South Park: The Stick of Truth
South Park is one of my favorite shows, and Obsidian is one of my favorite developers. Couple them together in a game that nails the look and feel of the show with plenty of RPG goodness and we look to have a winner here.
1. Destiny
I’ve loved everything Bungie’s made, and Destiny does not look to change this. Everything about it looks to take what makes Halo great and enhance it to make a more fun game.
