I like Pixlbit much better then the bigger sites

I mean really you all be glad your here and not at some of the bigger sites cause I have accounts with Gamespot Giantbomb and several others and there is so many rude and just flat out mean people on these sites, Giant bomb being one of the worst, I have never seen such stuck up arrogant sob in my life and talk abot trolls well it troll free for all on these sites, so I think its safe to say that this site although smaller is waaaaaaay better then these other sites and now I see why they call giant bomb giant BOMB lol anyway im so glad im here and will be here till either Nick tells me to leave or they close there doors.

I've had accounts with IGN, GameSpot, Playfire, and a few others. Playfire had potential back during their beta, but dumped all the fun community stuff when they redid the site. And they completely disenfranchised all the retro gamers.

yes i was shocked by how rude the language and the total disreguard for self respect onGiant bomb and dont get me started on the forums lets just say disaster and leave it at that lol.

Historically, we haven't had too many problems with trolls and the like. I'm happy to see that our influx of new users doesn't seem to include any either. I'm glad you like it here!

I agree. This site has a good vibe. I hate it when I post my opinion on some sites and have it disrespected by some dude who gets his kicks by insulting my mother and putting other people down. haha

I like it here as well. Not much else to say, just nice to see an easy-going community, for the most-part.

well we had one troll on 1 up who was downgrading one of the girls on the site and it was amazing how everyone came to her defense and got the troll banned it was definently a classic moment when we stood our ground and got rid of the problem lol

I don't know what happened with Giant Bomb. I used to post there back in 2009, and it seemed to be a normal place. Then again, I didn't interact all that much with the community and opted to write reviews and perform page edits. When I went back there recently I felt uneasy with the community. It was rowdy and I was in no mood to put up with it. And forget about GameSpot; I'm never going back there again. That's where I was before I went to 1up in 2008 and I just want to forget about it.

Anyway, I'll be staying here myself for as long as possible, too.

1up was great, it felt like a mellow place far more intimate. I only go on Ign for the comics (which ironically is a far more civil part of the site).
