I think I'm selling games with my mind.

A few days ago I was talking to someone about Rayman 2. the following day my copy of Rayman 2 Revolution sold on Amazon. Yesterday I blogged here about 4 Heroes of Light. This morning 4 Heroes of Light sold on Amazon.

Ooh scary kids. :)

The biggest problem is I either have to quit playing the game or cancel the persons order.

This would be the point to start talking about those any Barbie games that might be in your collection then...  Not that there would be any.

Maybe I'll go buy some barbie games and blog about them. LOL

Actually you've given me an idea. I'll put some of the old crap that isn't selling on for ridiculous prices and then blog about them.

Yes folks Punky Skunk and Superman 64 are two of my favourite games. Now if those sell tomorrow I'll be really surprised. Particularly since I don't own either of them

I saw Superman 64 at this retro game store recently. They wanted $10 for that piece of garbage. I looked at that price tag and started laughing my arse off. Maybe I should try selling my PS3 games on Ebay. I called Gamestop to see how much they'd offer for a 120 GB Slim. $50 lol. WTF?!?!?! Yell

Gamestop/EBgames doesn't offer anything reasonable for trade ins with the possible exception of when they bump games that they normally pay 8 bucks for to 25 for certain promotions.

I know EB managers up here who have taken in Suikoden 2 for 25 cents and Final Fantasy VII black label for 50 cents. Granted that was a few years back but still.

It's better to sell your games yourself if you can. Gamestop is just there for convenience for folks that need fast cash or just want to dump their stuff off and get a few bucks for it. Of course, I tend to be the one adding the rare games to my collection rather than selling them, so I'm not too up on selling stuff on eBay or Amazon either.

The only problem I have with Amazon is that they only give me $4.99 for postage no matter what. Double PS1 games are too thick to send for that price and wind up costing me over 10 bucks to ship an item which sometimes isn't worth much more than the postage.

Whoa, what a useful skill! It sure beats out mine, which at this point I'm sure is having a knack for picking out the most temperamental electronics out there.

Why. What did you buy that broke.

Well, just to name a few, I've had two laptops that I found out later were on a list of recalled products due to factory errors. I've also had multiple CD players that barely lasted a year due to various problems, as well as two TVs that shorted out and died.

My brothers used to joke about how I could make a really good quality assurance tester when I was younger.

I wish I could make Amazon deals with my mind. It would save me a lot of hassle.

*slowly backs away*

I'd recommend you keep your games. Even if you don't play them immediately you will eventualy. I have still yet to play Xeonsaga II and III and I've had them since 2006/2007?

....

*please don't kill me with your mind*

Xenosaga was a series I played through without pause as the games became available. Even with the weak second episode and the WTF! ending it is still one of my favourites.

I could have gone 5 games with that one easily.

Generally I'm not selling games I still want to play but in some cases I have done. For instance I tried The Last Story and found the battle system too frustrating so I knew I was never going back to it. So I sold it for exactly what I paid for it.

but if you sat on it, perhaps in a couple of years the last story could be worth something. Being part of "Operation Rainfall" i'm sure they'd fetch a hansome price in two decades. I'm not a big fan of the game myself, as well as Pandora's Tower. But then again I do plan on playing them again eventually....

I don't have the luxury of waiting for them to appreciate. I need money now so off they go.
