PixlBit

So…hey guys!  I know it’s been a long time, but I must implore that the rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.  My sabbatical from PixlBit has been of such a length that there are surely those out there who don’t even know who I am – something that I hope to remedy in the coming weeks.

So, for those who don’t know who I am, my name is Jesse Miller, and I am the Features Editor here at PixlBit.  In August of last year my lovely fiancé, Kasondra, gave birth to our first child Lila.  Since then it’s been a whirlwind – and awesome whirlwind – but a whirlwind non-the-less.  Aside from Lila being born, we moved and I received a promotion at my “other job”.  Spare time has dwindled to the point of non-existence, as has my excess energy.  Suffice to say, I haven’t had much time to keep up with the world of videogames, PixlBit, or much else for that matter.

But I’m adjusting.  Becoming a father has been both a challenging and immensely rewarding experience – an experience that I am feeling increasingly comfortable with, which is starting to open up my availability to make somewhat of a return to this wonderful gaming community.

That being said, this does not mean a return to the rate of production I had previously held myself to.  I will be blogging as much as I can, and will return to contributing to the site as I can in the form of features and editorials (aside from behind the scenes stuff).  Because this year I will also be getting married – and as some of you know, planning a wedding can be rather time consuming.

So here I am.  I’m back baby!
