I finished Mutant Mudds Deluxe a little ways back. There's a lot of levels, but they are short, and it didn't take me long. That was a great game. Simple platforming fun. Good luck working through your backlog. Mine is utterly insane lol.
The most stressful game I have ever played, and more.

I have finally done it. At least I hope that I have finally quit Cookie Clicker. There is a small void that has formed in my being and I might have to fill that with Candy Box 2. Here is hoping that I get bored with that one fairly quicklySince half of Cookie Clicker is all about waiting to accumulate enough cookies to buy another upgrade I have spent that time with a couple of games in my Steam backlog. The two big games that I have spent some time with are Papers, Please and Risk of Rain. I spent about 20 minutes with Valdis Story: Abyssal City but wanted something a little more rogue-y so I put it down. Valdis Story left a fantastic first impression though, I really hope to come back to it soon.
Papers, Please is not my kind of game. I find it to be far too stressful and depressing for my tastes. Do not get me wrong, there is a lot to love. There is simple gameplay, that slowly adds new "mechanics" and a wonderful art style. There is the central gameplay that revolves around checking people's Papers. That part I quite enjoy, and they add different things for you to remember to check as the game progresses. My problem with the game comes with everything else outside of checking Papers. You have to manage finances and ensure that your family is taken care of... You need to play rent, and decide whether or not you have enough money for food and/or heat that night. It is way too stressful for me, so I do not expect to spend much more time with the game. As I think about it right now, I believe that there is an endless mode seperate from the campaign. I might be able to enjoy that part of the game.
I have spent some time with Risk of Rain. That is definitely a game that I could sink a lot of time into, especially if it were ported to the Vita. It is one of those side-scrolling actiony games with rogue elements. You just run around a big map trying to find the objective and killing anything and everything that gets in your way. It is tough, but I will keep coming back to it because it is fun.
My hope for 2014 is to complete at the very least one indie and one big budget game per month. I recently picked up Assassin's Creed IV and Mutant Mudds Deluxe and those are the two games that I hope to finish in January. January is a rather slow looking month as far as releases are concerned. Outside of the PS+ freebies and The Banner Saga I don't expect to pick up any new games. This is wonderful news in the sense that I will be able to focus whatever time I have left after AC IV and Mutant Mudds towards my backlog.
I was able to clear out a lot of my backlog when I packed away my Xbox 360. While there were quite a few games that I absolutely loved on the 360, or still wanted to play I am happy I packed it up. I want to be able to focus on the PS4, the Wii and my massive collection of handheld games. Thanks to the Steam sale I was able to reaquire the majority of the games that I loved from the 360 at a damn good price. I grabbed Dishonored, Dark Souls, New Vegas, The Witcher 2 and the Bioshock games. Now I just need to work on building a PC or waiting for a SteamBox or is it SteamEngine...
I did not spend that much time with the Wii this past generation. In fact, I may have spent more time with it this past year than I did the entire generation. Now is the perfect opportunity to pick up all of those games that I missed and had a mild curiosity about. Recently I picked up a copy of Sin & Punishment: Star Successor, Manhunt 2, Madworld, and The Connduit. I do have a growing backlog of Wii games that I really should work on. Last year I remember downloading a dozen or so VC titles, and picking up Pandora's Tower, The Last Story and Xenoblade Chronicles. I should really work on those games this year. Especially since February looks like there aren't any big games that are screaming my name at this point. Bravely Default is probably the only game that I am currently interested in, but I already have nearly two dozen RPGs that need my attention.
So to recap in the simplest of ways. I hope to finish at least two games a month, one indie and one big budget. I hope to work through my Wii backlog over the next couple of months. March is when I will jump into my PS4 in earnest.
Oh, and according to gamerevolution the Lead Righter or somebody at Bungie left. I find it odd how the title of the story said righter, but the actual story said writer.
