KnightDriver made me realize he's not the only one bit by the nostalgia bug lately...

Christmas brought me a Cacutar Doll who I snuggle with relentlessly. This was the end result of an E-bay bonanza which led me to seek out some of my favorite quirky games!

-Bust A Groove & Bust A Groove 2 - Music game magic!

-Tail of the Sun - I still am yet to build my tower of mammoth tusks to appease my tribe.

-Legend of Legaia- Painfully underrated and my second favorite RPG of all time.

-Saga Frontier 1 & 2, Romancing Saga, Unlimited Saga and the "Essence" of SaGa Artbook (so expensive!!)

-Monster Rancher 1 & 2- Raising a Golem/Wolf named "Snomeiser" xD

-Suikoden 1 & 2 (I will never forgive the person who borrowed these and did not return them.)

-Aquanauts Holiday- Exploring the ocean and talking to fish is so Zen!

-Star Ocean the Second Story (I will also never forgive the person who gave me back only disc 2!)

-Thousand Arms- If you haven't heard of Meis, the womanizing hero of this half dating-sim half JRPG you *need* to try it!

Games I'm looking to get/try/"borrow" for my tablet (which now has FPSe and a Red Samurai controller! I'm so happy it's a fully-functioning PS1)

Breath of Fire 4 (reccomended to me, haven't played it)

Valkyrie Profile

Threads of Fate

Grandia

Chrono Cross

Tekken 3

Brave Fencer Musashi

Kartia (?)

Tales of Destiny

Tales of Eternia

^outside of Threads of Fate and Tekken 3 I haven't played most of these much, if at all. :P

Please tell me your favorite PS1 games- the quirkier the better!

I LOVE IT. Omg... it's seriously one of my faves! It lags so bad on my tablet though... ;_;

Brave Fencer Musashi is awesome.

Other quirky PSOne games I like are Tail Concerto and The Misadventures of Tron Bonne.

I used to love playing Bust A Groove at my next door neighbors'. I remember Monster Rancher, watched a couple episodes of the TV show, but never really got into it much. Also played a lot of Tekken at the neighbors', including 3.

My favorite PSX game is Rival Schools, played at a friend's when I was little. The other stuff I remember wasn't that quirky. It was my older brother's system, and I had the N64 in the house.

I still have my copy of Bust-A-Groove 2 for PSone. My favorite rhythm game ever.

Legend of Legaia was always one of my favorite RPG's as well, love the combo battle system. Made every battle fun and different.

Star Ocean: 2nd Story was the first RPG I ever owned.  Good times.  I pitty the punk that only gave you disc 2 back.

That reminds me. I need to find all those complication games for the PSP, physical or digital otherwise. I've always passed on Star Ocean on PSP, I think I might need to fix that eventually. Have fun with your buys.
