i got started with DQ6 but got distracted.  I really liked it though. 

I think the other day I went to download Suikoden but it's not available for Vita maybe?  I didn't see it onder PSONE games.  Or maybe that was just a crazy dream.... 

I would hope they kept it up on the PSN lol. I'll actually double check it out and see if they do still have it under the classics.

DQ6 I liked but it was not as great of a story as I would have wanted it to be.

I'm a huge Suikoden fan who has never played Suikoden 2. I've played all the others and even a little bit of Tactics.

If Suikoden 6 ever happens I'll have it day 1

They actually made one for the PSP which is suppose to take place in the same world as the others but it was not released over to America....even though I think it should have been. Fingers still crossed for it!

Wanted to respond to your main blog but gravatar has been a pain about asking me to sign in everytine while conveniently forgetting my password. Ugh,makes me so mad!

Anyway,my first Suikoden game was Suikoden 2 and at the time it blew me away. It wasn't a graphically impressive game but the characters,story,and mature themes gave it an immediate edge over its' rivals.

I remember one of the most popular gaming magazines gave it an unjustifyably low score (People were becoming more enamored with 3D polygonal graphics and what they termed "the cutting edge" in technology) and that was the last time I picked up anymore issues. lol.

I can't stand many of the polygonal games on the PS.  They look so awful now.  Many 2D games still look beautiful.  

Exactly what I was thinking James! The first polygons didn't really blow me away much. I'm pretty happy "pixels" haven't entirely died out even today!

I always wanted to play Suikoden.  If it wasn't for the price, I'd own it already.  I own 3, 4, and 5 on the PS2.  I don't think I have Tactics.  I was hoping for a remake on the PSP, since there were quite a few rare rpgs getting a remake on it.  I have a less expensive way of getting the game, but I would love to have an actual legit copy. 

It still looks like a good game.  Hopefully I can make myself play it soon.

I bought it on PSN. Need to get back to it. Played only a few hours and loved it.

Adding it to the list. Will see on it once I get done with Cary's reviews. If I can't play these games I'll atleast read about them!
