I'm working on my Mass Effect second playthrough but I haven't touched it for like two months. You're definitely more productive than I am with games. There's so many games I want to play and complete, but I have such a hard time focusing.

Hi, I'm Dan. I'm here to remove any lingering doubt about how big of a geek I am.
Since mid-2010, I've tracked every game I've completed. I recently hit a milestone of 100 (including replays), so I thought I'd share a few statistics.
- 42% of the games I completed were for Xbox 360, 33% were for PS3, and 6% were for Wii. The other 19% comprised 3DS, DS, iOS, PC, PS1, PS2, PSP, and Vita. No major surprises here, since 360/PS3/Wii were the "current gen" for the majority of the time period.
- On average, I beat 25 games per year. 2011 was my busiest gaming year, with 35% of the list. 2010 was my slowest, with 15%. I don't know why 2011 was so productive, but 2010 is easy. I didn't quit Final Fantasy XI until I started my list. Before then, I wasn't playing anything else.
- I've finished the most games in April (10%) and the fewest games in August and December (4% each). Who knows why April is so high. August is busy because of work, and December is busy because of the holidays. These results are skewed because I didn't start tracking the month of completion until 2011, so all 15 games from 2010 are listed "unknown."
- Since 2010, I've played Mass Effect twice, Mass Effect 2 twice, and Uncharted 2 twice. All other games were completed only once.
I hope you've found this at least somewhat interesting. I did!
