That sucks. I do wonder sometimes if I should play games on my laptop when the cooling fan begins to sound like a jet engine. Glad you survived the wreck and got a 4.0 on your first semester of your Masters! I actually did the same, and am the same age as you. Small world.
Temporary Absence

So I'm back from my temporary absence, as you can tell. I went on a little hiatus due to a series of unfortunate events. I've been limited to just having my Macbook since I recently moved and didn't have a desk to set up my legit desktop that can play basically any game at max settings. Well, about a week and a half ago I finally went home so I was able to bring my PC back with me. Finally I could play some more Dark Souls, High res. Dota 2, and use my free trial period of Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn.
Beging gaming revolution 2014.
....and then 2 days later my PC dies and is currently having its PSU and Motherboard replaced. Alas, it was not meant to be...at last for a little while longer, haha.
I did get to mess around a little bit with A Realm Reborn, though. Overall it seems alright, not quite as polished as WoW but how could it be? WoW has only been around as long as the internet!
While waiting for my desktop to get repaired I've been back to Dota 2 on my laptop and COD: Ghosts for the Xbox One, both of which have proven to be pretty entertaining. I know the multiplayer is repetitive on both, but it satisfies my competitive nature and Call of Duty is always fun with my friends.
I also experienced my first car wreck, which isn't bad since I'm 23. I was sitting at a red light and glanced in my rear view to see a car that I knew had no chance of slowing down. Poor guy almost totaled his car while my truck remains relatively unaffected except for needing a new tail light.
Other than that things have been pretty slow here, I'm ready for school to start up in a few more weeks! I ended up with a 4.0 last semester, which is a great way to start out my master's degree. Hopefully I can keep that going! I'll be checking out everyone's blogs to try and catch up.
I guess that's all until next time! Happy gaming!
