The Banner Saga.

The Banner Saga officially releases later today. I am currently pre-loading it onto my computer as I write. To be honest, I had pushed this game from my memory since I kickstarted it back in 2012. I was excited for it when I kickstarted it, but so many awesome games have come between that point and now that I have had little time to think about it.... Now that its release is finally here I find myself sitting here in eager anticipation and cannot wait until I get home from work and am able to play it. I don't expect to put much time into it, but I do want to get a little bit of a taste of it before I put it back onto my backlog. Here is hoping that the gameplay is as amazing as the art style... I will try to come back tomorrow or later this week and give some first impressions.

If I am lucky, I will put more time into it than I did with Shadowrun Returns. I don't even think I left the house that you start in with that game.

i'm really tempted to buy this but I promised myself I would wait until I finish some other games first. This looks utterly rad now, and the reviews are saying it's great.

The fact that it is getting good reviews makes me all the more excited. It also makes me wonder if the other games that I have kickstarted will be able to pull it off and be decent... or actually get released.
