Well I started back playing SMT: Persona on the PSP today... Then I have also started BM AO on the PS 3 and trying to finish up AC Rev on the 360. Plus the OUYA has me busy!

Today I had my interview for the IT comms specialist job to, I think I completely flubbed it. My certs are way out of date and I got a brain cramp on most of the questions. There were 62 people applied and they narrowed it down to 10 and I was one of the 10. I guess I will be washing the F out of dishes for ever ( Not that it is a bad thing ) I was just wanting to get back into my field of work. Anyway later for now.

Sorry to hear about the interview Larry. It's happened to me before too. Don't give up. There'll be other opportunities for you I'm sure.

I could not play that Persona game. It drove me up the wall. The frequency of random encounters plus the frequency of party wipes made me want to throw my PSP.

I got further in P2 but I have yet to finish either of them

I think that is the reason I stopped playing it to start with. I like the story but every turn in a builden I am fighting, unless I can talk my way out of it if the demon talks to me.

Don't give up hope yet, Larry. You may have done better than you thought you did. Looks like you were anxious about getting this job. That makes everyone feel like they did worse than they did.

I could not answer some simple questions. Like, How to change the IP from Static to DHCP. Network Manager Dummy!

sorry about the interview, Larry.  But I've flubbed an interview or two, but then ended up with the job anyway.  You never get the first job you apply for anyway, in my experience.  just keep an eye out and maybe something else will come along.

That is true.

Dude, the most important thing you can do on an interview is be honest about your experience and be yourself. Sounds like you did both of things. Don't worry about how you stacked against the applicants. I thought I was under-qualified for my job, but they choose me much to my surprise. I do desktop support and assistive technology software testing.

Don't count yourself out, and just keep searching in the mean time. Good help is hard to find. Just concentrate on being that good help that IT managers so desperately need.

I was completely honest. They asked me if I am able to do command line in terminal, I said of course I work with the Linux OS.

I'm sorry to hear that about the job interview. That's one sucky thing about the IT field. It is always changing. I'm sure there will be other opportunities though. Don't give up!

I did not expect to be interveiwed by the whole department at once, it was very stressful...

You probably did better than you thought you did, and if not, everything is a learning experience.

I tried playing Persona (PSP) a while back.  It's a bit dated and I wasn't in the mood to continue playing.  But, after playing the even more dated Soul Hackers, I could give Persona another chance.

alot of people seem to be giving their PSP's some love as of late. If this keeps up I justmight show my system some love.

Keep trying. Don't count yourself out yet. We have yet to reach the "gattica" moment of employment yet so there is still a chance!
