MORTAL KOMBAT!! Dun dun dun dun !

After being disappointed with MKvsDCU, due to sluggish controls, I wanted to try out the real deal.

Still mildly sluggish, which was actually due to my controller being low on juice, I enjoyed the hell out of this. Just bloody enough to keep me entertained.

Its so brutal. And I am so glad for the option to practice moves and fatalities. After the battery recharges, I cannot wait to pummel some characters.

I tried practicing with Freddy Krueger, as I thought we would have had some cool moves. He's a pretty plain fighter. Very basic movies, but his fatality was fun. His X-Ray move was so much fun to behold. Even my wife squeed when it happened.

Mortal Kombat is a great game, but when they samsh it with another title or fighting game things don't work out that good. Tekken and streetFighter 2 great games, but when they smash them together, the hardcore fans didn't like that.

Its the differnce in the game engine and fighting system. Sad really.

"Just bloody enough for my tastes" lol. That game was insane. I had a blast playing this one and am looking forward to Injustice.

I really want to try that game just for Freddy. But it's still too expensive for me. I actually stopped with that series after UMC3. I'm keeping an eye on it, though!

Its only 20 bucks for the Komplete Edition. And just playing the Tutorial, methinks i got my moneys worth.

I always found MK sluggish in general, but this one looked like gory fun!
