All though I am some what bored with the rip-off GoW style game-play, I am very happy with the soundtrack for this game. This has to be one of the best game soundtrack I have heard in a while.

That is it for now. Later Guys.

P.S.

I did not get the Job...

I was pretty bored with GoW by the time I finished the third one. I guess I'll be skipping this. Sorry you didn't get the job Larry. Maybe next time?

It is all good brother. I was the same with GoW myself, I have the new one and have not finished it yet.

I downloaded it when it hit PS+ but I haven't tried it yet. I haven't play a Devil May Cry game since since the original, so I'm looking forward to giving it a try.

I am really trying to like the game, but other than the soundtrack, I really do not like it.

I wouldn't call it a GoW ripoff, DMC's always been pretty different from action games and that's no exception.

I think it is safe to say both games ripped of Castlevania.

Well, that's one good thing. I also like the aesthetic, but I can't say anything about the game, since I haven't played it.

Hell, give it a try you may like it. I just see way to much of other games I have played, in it, you know.

Damn man, that sucks that you didn't get the job.

Also, yeah, I think the soundtrack and artstyle were the main reason I liked this game. Have you played metal gear rising revengence? If so, what did you think?

Thanks Blake. No I haven't, if I can find it on the cheap I will check it out.

Well honestly, I wouldn't call the game a rip-off, since the original Devil May Cry was released before the first GoW was launched and even then, the two come from the Hack-n-Slash genre, so they have a lot of similarities. But what would I know, I haven't really played the game so don't trust me.

That is true, they both are rip-offs of Castlevania.

To tell you the true, anything can be called a rip-off whetever it's justified or not, and even so, it isn't so much as a rip-off, but rather taking influences and elements to create something, which would be a rip-off if it wasn't for the fact that about 90% of media is done that way and also includes many other works and has always been.

I played through the first three Devil May Cry games and thought they were alright, but never understood why people thought they were so great.  I actually enjoyed the new one and had more fun with it than with the others, but still didn't think it was much better than an average game.  Personally, I liked Dante in the new one much more than the old version of him.

I might go for it myself but the soundtrack to the past game series I loved.

Screw them! I'm sure the job will be open again when the guy they hired doesn't work out.
