FFXIV:A Realm Reborn PS4 Information

So tonight I finally came across info regarding the PS4 verison of Realm Reborn and oh am I excited! Some of you may remember I participated in the Beta for the PS3 verison back in 2013. I fell in love with the game but I made a big choice to actually sit back and wait on the PS4 verison. These past few months have been a bit of drag concerning the game for the PS4 not to mention a lil worrisome since I was really wanting the collectors set and it wasnt excatly announced then and there for the next gen verison. So I took the big step of missing out to chance it with the PS4 and well it paid off dammit!

Final Fantasy XIV: Collector's Edition

Its still the same price as the ps3 collectors set at 79.99. The release date is currently set at April 14th and the beta for it starts on Feb 22th. Beta sign up isnt currently avaiable but Im betting it will open in another 2 weeks *hopefully*. I also read that those who have an account for it on PS3 will be able to migrate it to PS4 free of cost. I dont know how many still play on here but Ill be finally joining the fun in another few months!

I pay by month, I know it adds to more at the end of the year but I rather pay by a month to month basis and gauge how much Im gonna keep playing then pay for so much ahead of time and then end up barely getting to touch it. Im glad they added cards though!

yeah i held off on this too. I want to play it.. but need to get a PS4 first. What I really want to do is play it off screen on my Vita. Man, that would rule.

That is what my bf has been crazed about the PS4, a few weeks ago he was playing DC Universe through remote play on his Vita. I guess Im just one of thoe people who prefer it on the big screen,lol!

$80 plus subscription fees? Damn. Do they think we are made of money?!?!?!

Ah well. It looks like a nice set. I never could get into MMOs. I'm surprised my brother didn't wait for the PS4 version. He still doesn't have a PS4 game.

Dont forget Aaron they do give you a month free when you buy it. Im buying the collectors because Iove the extras not to mention I love the game. I was severely sad with my choice to hold off on playing it last year but it shall pay off soon. Subscription wise its the normal 14.99 so Im not to hurt over it.

Oh yeah. That's true. I meant no offense.... I'm just cheap lol. If you love the game though then go for it. I can't justify paying a monthly fee to play a game. I figure I could just buy other games for that price. I hope you have fun with it!

No offense was ever taken,lol I know a lot of people forget that normally p2p games offer a month free to enjoy the game before paying the subscription. The one game that has my eyebrow raised in that regard is Elder Scrolls Online. They havent stated as far as I know if you get a month free upon purchase. I dont blame you for feeling that way, Im not a fan of subscription fees but its just one of those things that you either do it or dont play that specific game.

It seems a lot bigger then the pc and ps3 editions but at the same time im just not 100% since I dont remember what they came with excatly. Ive slept since then,lol
