Who eats a sandwich in the middle of a sword fight?

I don't really have much, but I did see a picture that has gotten me all excited yesterday.

I am really hoping the Master comes back so that the Doctor and him can have a sword fight.  A  sword fight that would have the Doctor stop in the middle of it to eat a sandwich...  just like in The Sea Devils.

Also, I picked up Guacamelee a while back and am finally getting into it.  I love the humour and the plethora of references so far.

The old guy on the right....is he the new Doctor?  I haven't watched the show since 2005.  I'm need to catch up on Netflix.

The old guy on the right is Peter Capaldi, the 12th Doctor.  His episodes don't start until later this year, but they are currently filming.  Also, he isn't much older than Pertwee was on the left.

I'll miss Matt Smith, but I'm looking forward to seeing Peter Capaldi's Doctor in action.

I enjoy all the Doctors equally by this point.  I will miss Matt, but I am glad to have somebody new...  somebody who doesn't like the colour of his kidneys.

If that happened with this other doctor I fear I would weep tears of BETRAYAL!

Be.TRAYAL!

Betrayed me!

I loved this past season because of all the little nods to the classics.  I think that it would be cool if he pulled out a sandwich while the TARDIS is crashing...  or something.

Looking cool. Since I have tagged in Tumblr a post with links to every classic Doctor Who episodes, I might start to watch them, since i've seen more of Modern Who than classic (and always gets confused why some fans think Moffat "ruined" Doctor Who).

This was my guide to getting into classic doctor who.  Now I am hopelessly hooked, and I might prefer it to the modern stuff.  Well new showrunners do that to shows.  Things change and fans don't want the change.  I love all Doctor Who, so I can't say I care who runs the show, just as long as I get more.

The Doctor has been getting younger and younger over time. I wonder how they'll explain this reversal.

I like it though.  I have been hoping for this since I got hooked on the classic stuff.  There doesn't need to be an explanation as to why this body is older than the past few...  I think that they chose an older actor to continue to tie the classic era together with the modern.  That is why there were so many callbacks to the classics in season 7.

I still haven't watched any of the new shows. Last year I started from the very beginning and got through to the end of the Tom Baker years. The CG stuff in the new shows rubs me the wrong way, but I'll watch it eventually.

i'm kind of out of it with Dr Who, but I respect the series.  I used to watch the old ones when I was a kid, but lost interest.  That theme song though is the best ever.

Guacamelee needs a Steam sale sooner than later.

Thank you for alerting me! Not sure I'd have checked my AOL for that e-mail about the sale otherwise.

I'm glad there's the red lining inside Capaldi's outfit. Looks a little bland otherwise. I'm excited, though, for when things start back up again.

He needs a small lapel flower, just for that something extra
