But I will participate. So here's the deal. I'm going to offer a few series or developers and then I'll give my thoughts on a different entry each day. I already did Zelda and (somewhat) Halo back at 1up, so that's off the table. But tell me what you want to see and I'll tackle that one. Depending on the series I can do 2 of them. So here's the list
Mario
Pokemon
Bioware
Crash Bandicoot/Naughty Dog (Pick just one of these if that's what you want, go in a different direction after PS1)
Metal Gear Solid
Metroid
If you have any other ideas, feel free to add that. Just no Sonic. I'm a fan of the series, but after the Genesis, it's mostly mediocrity from what I've played, and that won't be too interesting.
I'm keenest for Naughty Dog, MGS and Bioware! Honestly, you'll probably disagree, but I don't think Uncharted 2 has aged well. I loved it at the time, but now I can't play it. It feels terrible to play and I just don't have fun with it. Don't know what it is.
Another series I'd like to see you tackle: Ratchet and Clank. You might have done this already, but I haven't played anything after the third one, and don't know which ones to play.
I could definitely do Ratchet. We'll see what gets votes and what fits as far as games and days of the month.

I don't know if you did it when I was gone, but I remember talk of reviewing Crash Bandicoot's kart racer.

I was thinking of certain developers but only the games they did before they were famous. Like Insomniac's PS1 game Disruptor or Naughty Dog's 3D0 game Way of the Warrior.
any of those would work. I got no picks. I'd suggest something on Sly Cooper or Ratchet and Clank but me thinks you've touched on them alot alread with their recent game releases from prior years.
Out of those, I would go with Metal Gear and Naughty Dog.
Crash intrigues me the most because I'd actually like to hear about some of the post-ND Crash games I never played. And Metroid. Those are my votes.
I'd be interested in a piece on the Crash Bandicoot series. It isn't talked about very often these days.
