A couple cartoon hints at what I plan to do with a particular pun and its obvious theme.
But first, sleep, reading, unfucking the rest of the songs I "fixed" today, and telling you about my day before that:
I've been following the diet and exercise plan my friend set for me to lose fat/build lean muscle. After having lost weight and mostly doing cardio and not eating much in Winter 2012/2013, I'm digging this 2,000 to 3,500 calories/150g+ protein thing, even if myfitnesspal keeps telling me to cut it out (I updated my goals, though, so that should be better now). It's amazing how my raw ability to lift things has gone down, yet the ease with which I can lift a percentage of my body weight has gone up. Well, not really amazing, it's not an undiscovered science, but the difference is quite noticeable to me.
I also found out I had $15.99 left on iTunes, which I haven't used since 2009. I used it to buy Macklemore's VS EP Redux, along with a couple extra Heist songs not on my copy, "Victory Lap" and "My Oh My," which is about late Seattle Mariners announcer Dave Niehaus. I can't identify with being that excited by a sports announcer (they all sound the same to me), but while I was once very bored with baseball, watching the Red Sox around '04 made me see how the boring moments could actually be really tense. Plus, I dug renting N64 games with Pudge Rodriguez (Texas Rangers, yeah! Please win a World Series. Please. So close!) and Ken Griffy Jr.'s name on them as a kid, so I can relate to the song that way. Also, it's just a great tribute; they played the song at Seattle Mariners' field (whatever it's called) as part of a tribute to Neihaus.
The other plus of iTunes being on a computer of mine again is I think I may have regained those two missing Dethalbum II tracks from when I first botched its download in 2009. At least, "Murmaider II" and ... whatever the other one was called are in my library now, it looks like, so hopefully it syncs. I will say I don't recall iTunes asking for a password every time you sneezed, but I guess it's more secure that way? But wouldn't I also be sending my info multiple times? Oh well, I signed up for Target Ticket cause it was free, clearly I'm not smart enough to be worried about card identity theft. Speaking of which, if you didn't know, Target Ticket gives you ten free movies. Between them and Google Play, I feel like the most legitimate Internet pirate ever.
I plan to use my remaining iTunes funds, that I'm pretty sure came from a gift card, to get Eagle Eye Cherry's "Save Tonight" on the station, if tomorrow I look and it's still not there. A DJ last semester gave me a list of songs she thought we should have and when I saw that on the list and checked and didn't find anything, I thought "we've failed as an alt rock station. Unacceptable." I'll be asking this semester's DJs what other songs we need and use my remaining funds on those songs. If you're curious, we are licensed with BMI (fucking three day report had to be done manually last semester; never again) and ASCAP and according to my GM can play whatever the hell we want as long as it's alternative as far as format/genre (which can mean a lot of things, let's be honest). I've gotten songs uploaded from e-mails from bands she's forwarded me, as well as random CDs we get in.
If you're curious about what happened today as far as what I'm unfucking tomorrow, feel free to ask and I'll explain when I'm more lucid and after I've read those 60 remaining pages for my 4pm research class tomorrow. It's actually not my fault what happened, but takes a second to explain.
See you. Night for now.
