PS4 Baby!

So this blog should no surprise to those who know me through 1up, if your new you will learn as we go!

Anywho Im totally excited to say that the PS4 is announced and will be released this holiday season. I'm putting my pre order in has soon as they say its a go. I was lucky to get a Wii U on launch without pre ordering and I wont trust luck a second time. Knowing how my luck comes and goes, It will turn ugly this holiday season in game console area. The sad thing is I know a lot of people are gonna do what they did with the Wii U, there gonna buy the console at sale price and jack the price up to re sale it to some desparate being who will pay any price to have it. Im not one of those people and Im betting the jacked up price being close to 800-1000, I dont think so. Im already aiming at the 529.00 model. If I pay it off some on every paycheck that I can it should be payed for before the relase day gets here which is looking to be Oct 29, 2013. If your asking "Where in the hell did she get the release date?"  Well Im only going on The new Assassins Creed release date because it got leaked and the only date on it is Oct 29th. They dont have a separate one for the PS4 and while yes, the game could release a few days early before the system is released it should still be close to around that time frame.

Anyway, I feel that the PS4 is def gonna be a step up from the PS3. Why? Firstly, the game list itself. Its getting 2 games I have high hopes on looking stunning and playing amazing on the system. Destiny and The Witcher 3. I want everyone to think back to big Skyrim DLC mess on the PS3. Do you remember how the system didnt get the DLC till this year in Feb? It took them forever to get it working on the PS3. That was my first kind of hint that big RPG types werent doing so hot on the PS3. Of course I was stubborn and said "No, the PS3 can handle it and blah blah blah" Ive come down from that lil cloud. We didnt even get The Witcher 2 on the PS3 and while the arguement can be made that Sony didnt buy into getting it but in all honesty, It might have just been another big Skyrim problem all over again. Destiny itself is looking amazing on the PS4, Atleast from what I have watched that was labled for the PS4 looks amazing. Ive only read about The Witcher 3 however Im liking what Ive read. For some reason, Watch Dogs was removed off of it but I dont think it means anything. I think it is still set to be a launch title for the PS4. Watch Dogs is another game. I have done my best to stay updated about that game and I can not wait to get my hands on it. The Star Wars 1313 I can not find anything that says its an official PS4 title but its on there. The list will grow and change in time but so far there are def a few Im excited for on it. Im currently expecting a Uncharted game to join it, and just maybe Samurai Warriors 4?  Food for thought!

Secondly, I really like the look of the new controller.I dont know if I will use the share stuff a lot but when I do think about it I have wanted to do Lets Play vids so maybe the PS4 might just make it a bit more easy for me to try that out. Ill gladly share my failing filled video on here! I personally wanna see what the console looks like but nothing has been released as far as I know. If your telling me I have to sit through some video with a bunch of babbling going to see it I wont be too thrilled to sit and watch but Ill do it for a glimpse of the actual system. I like watching videos, but sometimes conference vids are boring, so I read the articles that come out about them. Makes my life easier!

I bet by the time you have reached this mark your going "please just end the blog darn you!" and I will do the right thing and free you from your prison, HOWEVER I will be posting more blogs in the coming days about a few of the games Im hyped for and other game goodness I can think of, enjoy your short break while you can!

I hadn't thought about the let's play potential, that could make things easier, I guess.

I'm waiting it out, but it's cool to see a positive blog about PS4, I was beginning to think I was the only one just a bit excited.

I like all game consoles technically but Im a sony girl all the way and there really isnt anything that can sway or change it! I have been with it since the PS1 and loved it. I kind of feel like Im the only one right now because everyone else I know is either going for the xbox or not buying any next gen systems. Its okay though, Ill enjoy my PS4 by myself if need be!

I'm sure it will be a great system.  I just want to see what Microsoft has on tap before I decide which one to buy first.

Thats what alot of ppl I know are waiting for before making a decsion. I heard the announcement for the new Xbox is suppose to be in April so everyone has a whole month to sit and wait on it. Ill catch up and read about it once they do announce it. Like I have said in some previous comments Ill have both eventually so I can play exclusives on them.

Well they did release pics on the dual shock controller but reall nothing to say thats what the system looks like I have seen some pics that more then likely will be what it looks like, I did hear that sony will launch after the xbox 729 but not sure how sure that is.

Ive never played any of the Killzone games but I'm aiming to buy the HD collection once I have a PS3 again. I have a lot to catch up on. After that Ill decide if I wanna buy the new one at launch or not. You know you wanna buy one for it :)

Now im considering buying a PS4 mainly cause the same maker of the ps2 is the one creating the ps4 and in my opinion the ps2 is the best system ever made but I will not purchase it at launch for the simple reason all system have bugs and are not really ready until after the first year and the fact that im undecided on whether to get the ps4 or the xbox 720 but one things for sure if the guy behind the ps2 created the ps4 like I have heard then the ps4 will be hard to beat.

I dont blame ya on waiting till after the first year is over, Im just a risk taker. I know a lot of people are holding out to see what the new xbox brings. Ill get one eventually but the PS4 will come first. I really wanna know if the rumor that keeps jumping up that it wont play used games is true or not. I know Sony already said the PS4 would play used titles.

Good write-up on the PS4. I've never been an early adopter for any console but reading something like this could make me want one.

Its cool, I have a feeling the site had glitched. The only console I have been an early adopter on was the Wii U. During the period that I had the system I had no problems with it. Ill be posting more things about the PS4 so maybe I can corrupt you into getting one!

PS4 got a great games collection so far, but i(m sure that sony left some game for E3, so no matter what microsoft show, they will have something big to hit them with.

Thats what Im looking forward to about E3 this year, Im also betting they will finally show a damn picture of the actual system then if not any time soon.

I heard the ps4 will not play ps3 games it would have to be streamed and for the life of me i cant understand why they would not play ps3 games its like do you really have to play 2 systems when you easily play all on one silly sony decision if its true.

Ive heard that too but it doesnt bother me, Ill have both systems in my house so if I wanna play a PS3 one Ill do it on that console and the same goes for the PS4. I knwo backward compatibility might effect some peoples decisions, but not mine.
