I was going to wait until monday to post my first BaD but due to recent events I decided to post today and just post as many as I can during February.

You see the Deep south recently had an ice storm and it pretty much shut us down. I missed two days of work and I had to abandon my car and walk home. I have my car back and Im back at work. Now the catching up begins.

Also, since having a heart procedure back in November to stop my heart pains. The pain is still there. I have stopped eating Fast food, Fried food, red meat, TV dinners. Candy and snacks.  And my beloved Pepsi, because I cant have caffiene!. So I have another Dr's appointment Feb 17 to see if maybe I have acid reflux, or a hernia or an ulcer.

I will participate with BaD as much as time and health will allow. But not to worry. I will read as many BaD blogs as possible everyday and try to comment. Thanks for reading and

Keep being BaD!

ah i dunno if I could live without diet pepsi.  I'm addicted like a cokehead to that stuff.

That's scary you had to abandon your car out there.

I hope your health improves, and stay BaD yourself, ya hear?

Matt: Pepsi is like crack to me. I still allow myself one 20oz bottle when I game. I was only about 3-4 blocks from home when I skid into a yard and I just walked home. I got it out the next day.

Got to take care of yourself GH.  I've been dealing with goat for almost 2 weeks now.  I hadn't had any red meat this whole time.  It's killing me.  I want some bloody meat! Yell

James: Im doing the best I can.  Not having sausage is killing me. Red Beans and Rice with a whole chunk of sausage was my downfall.   Hey, at least we can still game!

Why is that the better food tastes the worse it is for you. :)

Blog when you can sir and take care of business.

I love the dog pictures but it might not have been that funny for the people taking the pic.

Hope you get better. A mere stomach virus last year had me in too much pain to move from the can, so I don't wanna know what what you're going through feels like!

And here in Deep East, TX, we're not shut down, but it is cold enough to raise my electricy/heating cost. Mother Nature needs to coo ... I mean, warm it.

Joe: I beleieve it is my stomach that is causing the pain but it hurts in my chest and arms. Hopefully the doctor will patch me up. We had ice for two days and it pretty much shut down the whole county

Take care of yourself GH. This place just wouldn't be the same without you. I know they are so BaD for me, but I fear I'm addicted to soda. Lately I've been on a Vanilla Coke and Cherry Dr. Pepper binge.

Thank you. I love Pepsi and its a ritual with me when I game, a 20 oz Pepsi and a box of Reeses pieces. I still have the 20oz. Im thinking one a day cant hurt...can it?  hahahaha

I've been trying to kick my soda habit, but to no avail. At least I've managed to cut it down a lot.

Hope everything turns out fine as far as your health goes.

Didn't know you were one of the many that had to ditch their cars just to get home. Was it really as bad as they say it was. People where I live keep calling you guys dummies for not knowing how to dive on black ice/ 2 in of snow.

NSonic: It was pretty bad. The roads in my town were pure iced over and I was only going 5mph and just started sliding and ended up in someones yard and I got out of the yard and finally got it to the curb and just left it and walked home. Thankfully I was less than 10 minutes from my house..  But you're right, I've never driven on ice so I had no clue.

Driving in snow and ice is a learned behavior. You guys don't usually have to do it, so it's not something you learn to do. I actually took my driving classes in late fall/early winter, and my uncle took me out on the worst roads he knew of to teach me what I needed to know beyond what my driving instructor taught me. And there are still plenty of people up here who ought to know how to drive in snow and ice who end up in ditches and median strips. Glad you didn't crash the car and you got home safe.

Snow! Im getting sick of looking at it already. I already missed a few days of work because of it myself. And Tami, I don't know how Grays area is, but here in Branson its all hills. Just a tiny bit of snow or ice can send you flying off the road with ease. Considering they don't like guard rails out here, flying off the road down a steep hill into woods is rather easy.
