I gotta admit...I didn't see it coming. I mean honestly who did? If I were to tell you how much the super bowl wasn't super you wouldn't believe me.  I mean everyone expected a close game...maybe even a 2 touchdown win...but a blow out? I give props to Seattle. They downright smacked the Broncos from start to finish. Peyton Manning was never comfortable in the pocket, threw interceptions, and on a very bizarre play got a botched snap for a safety. You can't draw up just how badly Denver played. But to put it in perspective the last time a smackdown like this happened the Buccaneers won a super bowl...or even further back The 2000 Ravens over the Giants...or heck the 85 Bears all over New England.

The ads were pretty good. There were some I liked, others I didn't. I didn't bother watching the half time show...heck I didn't even bother watching past half time. Instead I popped in Groundhog day (See my previous blog for those details lol) All in all  the game was pretty boring, but my food sure wasn't.

As usual I had some buddies over my house and we had pizza, wings, beer, subs, chips, dip, and all that great crap men love. Then when the game got bad...well I decided that Groundhog  Day was better suited for our manly binge. Anyways what are your thoughts on the Super bowl? Did you enjoy it? Hate it? Lose a crapload of money like one of my friends did betting on Denver? Feedback is always appreciated!

I hate that people stopped watching at Half Time, that show was leagues above any other such show in my lifetime and easily the best part of the broadcast.

I'll have to look at Youtube for ads I missed. So far my favorite is the hilariously poorly timed Bruce Willis "good game, huh?" hugs ad with Fred Armisen, who actually managed to humor me for once.

I was rooting for the Seahawks, but wanted Broncos to interest me at least. I got excited about those 8 third quarter points, then Seattle went right back to smacking them down. Dull.

I had jimmy Johns before the game and some Wingstreet wings after. Had to order extra blue cheese and ranch to get the delivery order up to $9.99, which irritated me.

Yeah I I only didn't watch it because of how the game was going. I did it last year too and missed the blackout and 49ers almost comeback because I thought the ravens had sealed it. Jimmy Johns is great. Too bad the closest one near me is 2 hours away

OMAHA! OMAHA! I thought this was going to be Peyton's last game, winning on the biggest stage, in his brother's house, but 12 seconds in, the game was done. I wish the game was closer but it was nice seeing the Seahawks finally win a Super Bowl. I don't care much for the whole 12th Man business since I associate that with Texas A&M.

Most commercials weren't that good. I did like the Uncle Jessie yogurt commerical, and during big events like this, it's always fun tweeting and reading people's thoughts about the game (lots of jokes, and memes)

Yeah all in all like I said there were some decent commercials and a few I didn't like. IU thought that last year had better commercials, but I can't judge.

I guess Seattle ate their spinach and Denver didn't.  You can read my take on the Super Bowl commercials on my new blog.

Yeah they must have. I will be sure to read your blog and see the insight of the commercials
