BaD#1: So it Begins

Well, what else can I say. I guess I should mention that since i'm Belgium I must be one day behind, but since it's the 3rd of February where I am and it's currently 4:30 PM, I say screw it and just follow my Belgian schedule.

I couldn't think of something to start BaD, except for an introduction of some things to come. Some I had planned, while some will be entries on anything I can think of. I can assure that this blogs will appear:

- My thoughts on the third book of A Song of Ice and Fire, A Storm of Swords (otherwise known as Game of Thrones if you follow the tv show).

- My top 5 or 4 of favorite 2D plataformers on the Wii.

- A blog entry about a famous Japanesse game that got popular and discovered in Something Awful and later got famous around the internet. I won't mention the name, only that it got ported to the Vita and will be released in the US on February 11. That will be the day of the blog.

- Movies i've seen so far of 2013.

- An occasional music blog.

- My top 5 favori...... you know, i'll keep this one a secret till the last day of BaD.

So that's all. Sit back, relax and enjoy my journey as I do BaD. Oh, and if you know which game i'm talking about that will be released on February 11, keep it a secret, oh right.

I think I stopped reading A Song of Ice and Fire after the third book. There was just way too much sex, and it seemed completely unnecessary. No offense Alex. I'm sorry if I said that already. Damn my horrible memory!!!

I started the series but stopped after the third porn chapter. Like you I thought those parts were gratuitous and added nothing to the book. It's too bad really because I enjoyed the story. I'm kicking myself for buying 3 books at once before I knew what I was getting into.

Sorry guys, but I'm gonna call both of you for your statements. Yes, there's sex scenes, but I honestly think people are exagerating on them. There's NOT that much sex scenes in my opinion and even so, they never distract me from the plot, which is one of most complex and intriguing plots I had ever read and it's more important than Jaime doing incest with Cercei on a church.

Oh well, atleast you both tried the series.

I liked the story.... but, it literally felt like I was reading porn at some parts. It bothered me. It bothered me enough to stop (although I managed to make it through 3 books lol). I guess me and Pete are in the minority. I've seen many people praise that series.

I think I know of what game you're talking about but I won't spoil it. I had forgotten it was getting a Western realease. It should be interesting to see how it goes down in the West.

I hope it does good, so that way the sequel would come too. If I get a Vita, I would get that game, even if I know the whole story already.

Good showing! Atleast you have an idea of what you'll be writing during BaD. I'm still winging it!

Taht time displacement could come in handly to help keep on time. Use it to your advantage. Plus blogging from a different region of the world for BaD is a nice twist!

I'm keeping good time with my BaD so far. Since I mostly blog at afternoon or evening, it's ususally morning time on the US, where most of the users are, so I get the advantage of my blogs getting posted at day hours. The bad thing is trying to be up to date with the comments, replies and blogs.
