BaD #3: Playstation Now Wishlist

My PS3 died in early 2012. I nearly replaced it right away, but I let my family convince me to register for one because I was getting married later that year. When time came for us to register for our wedding I had decided that it wouldn't be the end of the world if I no longer had a PS3. This was a big mistake, because outside of Halo Microsoft has very little to offer me in terms of exclusives. I have missed out on a handful of big releases since my PS3 died and I have missed replaying some of my favourites. I just wanted to go down a list of games that I am hoping to experience for the first time, or replay once PSNow is officially released. Today I want to specifically talk about PS3 releases.

The Ratchet and Clank franchise. I only missed Into the Nexus, but I love coming back and replaying the entire series on a regular basis.

The Resistance franchise. I only finished the first one, but was about to dive into the rest of the series right around the time my PS3 died. I regret not playing through 2 and 3.

I may prefer the Jak and Daxter series, but I still want to play Uncharted 3 and The Last of Us. It is just a curiosity thing, nothing more.

I never got around to finishing MGS4. In fact I wouldn't mind playing through MGS again either.

3D Dot Game Heroes and Valkyrie Chronicles are two games that I had copies of at one point, but never played more that 5 minutes of either. I wouldn't mind going back to them.

The only other exclusive that I can currently think of that I still would like to finish at some point is God of War 3.

Looking at this, this list is boring. I hope that a PS2 and PSOne list will be far more entertaining.

PlayStation Now seems like such a good idea, I just hope if I ever get the chance to try it out my sometimes buggy Internet connection isn't too much of a hinderance.

The 360 had a stronger start than the PS3, but the PS3 had a stronger finish.

I played through Resistance 3 recently. It was pretty good. My favorite is still the first one though. The 2nd had a good campaign, but the multiplayer was kinda meh.

Killzone Trilogy gave me my first Platinum trophy with Killzone 1. awesome series for the PS3

So many PS3 exclusives I need to play. I play a lot of Xbox with a friend of mine, so my PS3 has been used mostly as a Blue-Ray player. I keep getting the games though. Need time to get to them.

I hear you on R&C. While my favorite genre of games is RPGs, my favorite franchise ever is the R&C franchise.

Don't bother wtih Resistance 3. the PSN Pass jacks that game up thanks to it. Better off playing Resistance Retrubution to get the Resistance feel of a trilogy.

I'm not even thinking about PS Now at the moment. The rest of the other games are mostly offered in re=releases for a reduced price. I need to check out that Ratchet and Clank bundle I've seen around.
