Hello, everyone. I had planned on writing something funny today (or an attempt at something funny) but I'm scrapping it due to a run in with an old “friend” of mine, insomnia. I've haven't had much sleep today and I feel terrible right now. Thus I don't really have much to say. Right now, I'm worried about the snow we're about to get dumped with and whether or not I still have to work. Its a frustrating predicament that's not helped by having very little sleep. Right now, I'm just mulling over some Soul Calibur V creation to try to relax and maybe DOA 5 U later. That's all I can think of tonight. I'll post some real blog tomorrow. Stay toasty everyone!

PS: Thanks everyone who asked questions to me on Sunday.

Typical gamer: go kick someones ass to relax Tongue Out

I am sorry to hear about the insomnia. There's not much worse for day to day functioning than a lack of sleep.

Yeah it worst for me because I work 3rd shift and I'm a daytime person. I'm hoping this year to quit that job because I can't work like this for another year.

Yeah sorry to hear. I've never worked a job that required a night shift so I can only imagine. Sounds tough.

Me lacking sleep is a lot like drunk Homer. In fact, it's been scientifically proven: http://drowsydriving.org/about/facts-and-stats/ or at least the CDC and National Sleep Foundation of the U.S. seem to be indicating it has.

It is. Without sleep your sense of judgement and ability to do normal task signfigantly decline. Its crazy.

I know this all too well; I just couldn't find the exact, specific study that directly compared drunk and tired driving. It may have been in that link, but I was pretty tired when I typed that comment, so, y'know.

My problem isn't so much insomnia as it is trying to sleep. Sometimes I get a lot of thoughts in my head that distract me from sleeping, and even if I get to sleep, it's usually an hour later.

Try having a note book where you sleep at and write some of your thoughts before you go to bed. I've had many people suggest that to me.

I hear ya buddy.  I'm a bit of a night owl.  But I always pay for it the next day.  I just can't seem to get to bed at a decent hour.
