BaD #02

Can't blog much tonight. Just drove home in freezing cold and blowing snow conditions. Just got home after a long drive from work and rescooping the walks and driveway. It's not bad here per say, like how it will be in the east coast, I'm just doing prep work to ensure that I don't have to break myself doing clean up later tomorrow. Plus I have to deliver out of time for work tomorrow so I may not have much time to do clean up. Either way I'm glad we are not getting the worst of it yet.

Here is a pic of myself to show how my beard is progressing. Not bad eh? Knew the picture posts would help with my BaD's.

Wise BaD Message of the day: Looks like a storm's a coming....

Fellow Nebraskian! I never knew! Glad to see Nebrasians "representin". The storm wasn't that bad at all. Hardly a duster like we say out here.

How about the Arnie classic: "In this universe, there's only one absolute... everything freezes!"

I like that one. But I prefer the other one: Everything DIES! *mwahahahahahahaha!!!*

This time your photo reminds me of Stannis Baratheon in his appearance from Game of Thrones:

Your foyer looks like my parents' foyer. At least the chandalier and wood posts are very similar stylistically.

Well the house was bulit during the 60's if that helps. We haven't tried to modernize it for we thought it looked nice too. Plus my wife is trying to grow bamboo along them.

As someone living on the East Coast, all I can say is I can't wait for it to be over.

I love snow. I'm glad we got more of it today. My depression isn't as bad when there's lots of snow in the winter for some reason.

That is rather interesting. Uusually it's the opposite for those feelings, moreso given how many are feeling with cabin fever. Hope you made snow angels!

I have the woods to play in, with miles and miles of trails to go snowshoeing on. And tracking the wildlife is always fun, too. So far, lots of deer and squirrels, a pretty decent number of foxes, and the coyote pack. I don't track the coyotes back into the woods, it's a decent-sized family of Eastern Coyotes, and they are much bigger than their western cousins. Big enough that they can take down deer when the snow is deep, and I respect their territory. What I haven't seen, to my great disappointment, are any fisher tracks. They're some of my favorite animals to track.

We had "packing snow" on Monday. Now it's layered with ice. That'd make for some deadly snowballs.

Oh to only be a young kid again. Aw screw it. I want me some deadly snowfights!
