First Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Y...

Sorry for not posting my blog earlier, my pc didn't want to connect to the internet last night, the internet did work on my 3DS and Wii U though but I didn't have the images I needed.

And no links, sorry for that, I will put up 2 links per person tonight to make up for any error I had. Also, 6 more days to get your questions in. You can either send them in PM form or ask them in the comments.

Now that that is out of the way, yesterday I was training one of my Pokemon on the Friend Safari, I was training it against some pokemon and I met low level pokemon and kept escaping them, then suddenly this appeared...

That is a Shiny Pidgey, for those who don't know, a shiny Pokemon is basically a different colored version of a regular Pokemon. You know Charizard is orange right? Well a shiny Charizard is black colored. Or more famously, the Red Gyarados. They don't really offer any bonuses, other than envy from other people who play pokemon. And that envy is due to the fact that it's pretty random finding a shiny Pokemon.

I'm lucky that I found one in the Friend Safar because every Pokemon there is guaranteed to have 2-3 IV stats, in copetitive battling, that is a whole difference between you and your opponent. For those who want to know it's IV stats, it only has 2 31 IV stats, one in Attack and Special Defense. Not bad but it's a pokemon I'm not going to use anyway. But here are it's stats:

The nature it has was Jolly Nature, I had a photo of the nature but it came out too blurry. Sorry for the image quality, my good camera was giving a nastly blur with the flash that I had to use my DSi. Will it be the only shiny pokemon I find in Pokemon Y? Who knows. I am happy with finding it as my first shiny in the game.
