Fuck cold weather. Seriously, 35 degrees in Texas?! I absolutely hate when it's cold enough for my electricity bill to increase (and no, I will not just put on a robe or something, it is man's right to walk around in his apartment naked and do jumping jacks!), but not enough for snow or a day off.

Mother Nature Can Blow Me. Actually wait ... don't do that

It's already freezing in my office, I hate having to walk outside in cold too.

Even the awesome "Phendrana Drifts" song from Metroid Prime can't make me feel good about this. Seriously, when I unzipped my bands to go to the bathroom I accidentally touched my balls with the side of my thumb and practically jumped from shock it was so damn cold.

And to hell with ever doing Navy Seals training, that's for sure. I'd rather just die. The only thing I'd be learning there is what I'd think in freezing water, which is more than likely the same thing I'd think if x hated celebrity came on to me: down the street, not across the road.

Speaking of cold, just got to campfire site in Tomb Raider after her friend is lost along with teacher guy.

Otherwise, started Arkham Asylum on hard and got further in Ghost Trick last night.

Here's some music to play us out:

See, if it was snowing and this were playing, I'd be ok

It's 32 here where I am. Generally I like colder weather, but I could really use a break from it right now.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I also usually enjoy colder weather, but it's lasted too damn long.

Wimp. We're having a heat wave here, it made it to 24 today. I'm actually fine with the cold, it's heat I can't deal with.

Gald you're enjoying Tomb Raider. I really liked it, regardless of how Blake feels.

Pfft. Call me a wimp and you can't stand the heat. I have actually jumped in a freezing pool and stayed in it ... when I was fatter ... still. As I told CS, I like the cold when it comes and gose, just not this much cold for so damn long! My heating bill! Blaaaah!

As for TR, it's still pretty early. So far I'm feeling like I might be somewhere in the middle in the great TR "debate."

I'm the same. Must be my Scandinavian blood. Well, at least that's the joke my father's side of the family used to claim. That we're decended from Vikings. I think the connection is tenuous at best. Still, I do like the cold better than the hot, which I run from. I also have a strange urg to get into a boat and see what's out there. And sharpen my sword. Oh, did I say I have a sword? No I don't. I don't have a sword. But I think about having a sword. And then sharpening it for a trip on a boat. To see what's out there. And plunder it. There's no way I'm Viking stock. No way.

My parents have brought up that we may be indirectly linked to the Kennedys by way of the Fitzgeralds. No idea if that's true, but I kinda want to take one of those DNA genealogy cottown swab your mouth tests and find out. Maybe there's some Viking in there, too.

Family myths. Hilarious.

I actually don't think it's a myth, which is why I want to check into it.

Mine has some slight basis as found out when my Grandfather did his geneology, but it's so long ago.. whatever. It would be interesting to get one's DNA mapped or whatever they call it. It'll tell you exactly what part of the world your DNA originates from. It's an expensive thing to do, but maybe not for much longer. Cool huh?

I looked it up, it's about $100. I got excited when there seemed to be a $20 test, but that was books accompanying the test, not the test itself. My principal in high school and several other staff members took the test. Regardless of more recent ethnic background, most people hae their genealogy traced to Africa, but I think there was another place that was second-most prominent as far as origin, but I forget where.

And yeah, pretty cool.

It was like -34 with windchill where my aunt lives in Wisconsin. You people are crazy.

And I thought Belgium was bad enough with winter without snow, I kinda feel bad for all of those who are strugling in the snow.

Don't feel bad for me, I'm just being a pussy. The northern U.S. which I believe you're referring to on the other hand, yeah you can literally die from some of the windchill ... hope everyone is ok in those states.

beware, I started Arkham City on Hard (accidentally) and finally got stuck where I couldn't go any further because of this fight.  Those games can be tough.  I had to restart the game. Honestly, Hard was fun, but that one battle I just couldn't beat.

I'm already having some trouble with the lack of Spider sense when an enemy comes at you, but I'm having fun getting the hang of it. I'll probably get stuck to, but I'm at that point where I want to challenge myself more with the second playthrough to make it more fun. I feel like challenge mode gave me a much better handle on combat (and I am reeeeaaally stuck as far as getting high scores in those challenge fights)

It's currently 59 degrees here in SoCal. Earlier today it was in the 70s.

If a man can't do naked jumping jacks in his home without feeling cold, then the terrorists have won.

I'm just getting sick of the snow fall here in Indiana. I haven't had a chance to go out and run in a month now.

Have you been running in place or using a treadmill? The cardio my trainer prescribed was walking at a quick pace uphill, so I always use a treadmill. Walking uphill instead of running is said to reduce risk and cure white man ass.

Come to Canada! It's -17 Celcius today up here and this is a good day!

62 degrees ain't bad, I just don't like freezing rain and such on a daily basis. Thanks for not translating that into 'Murrcan for me, so that I had to look up a Celcius converter. Tongue Out lol

I really liked the new Tombraider a lot! It's slow at first but picks up rather quickly.

I didn't think it was slow at all. Laura gets the shit kicked out of her quite a bit from the get go. lol

Enjoy it while you can. YOu can tell your future kids that you endured a cold winter in Texas. I was the same way too when it came to cold weather and robes. But then I saw how high my bill can get to heating my house and also noticed goosebumps where I didn't think you could get goosebumps.

Besides, I look good in red.

Mine is blue (or black/navy?) I think, but I know what you mean about heating!
