As I sat at my computer I knew it was the end.

Wow! That palindrome didn't work out as intended.

Hello All!

I am V

Just V on other sites I go by different names. I realized that I was pretty sad when I was reading a friends profile and a ton of annoucements about the end. Not to get all emo but it was sad.

A site I had blogged at for 9 years was shutting down and it didn't settle.

So here I am now typing these words to you.

I hope this community is fun and I get to know everyone that I can.

Cary, if you're reading this I just go by V like in the 1up.com days.

I hope to write on this site almost weekly. But with this blog and the 7 others time is often I fight against/

Glad you made your way over here. We are all pretty sad about 1up's demise, but hopefully you'll like it at pixlbit too.

Yeah I was pretty sad when 1up.com went down, too. Especially since I had been posting there for nearly 10 years!

Pixlbit is certainly the next best thing. I hope it continues to grow and has staying power!

Welcome. I really enjoyed my time at 1Up but since many of the same people are here it really takes the edge off.

I was really sad about leaving 1up too. But I, like a lot of others, have found a new home here. I even started writing for the site.
