Future Purchases of 2014

I am about to be on terminal leave. It starts 18FEB14. I have cut all ties to future game purchases. It hurts me but with that said, I have a lot of games pre-ordered/paid off. I should be satisfied with what I am getting but I spoiled myself way too much. Here is the games I currently have paid off.

1. Titanfall: Collector's Edition

2. Dark Souls 2.

3. Destiny

4. Witcher 3

5. Uncharted

6. Order 1886

7. Final Fantasy X HD Remaster Collector's Edition

8. Final Fantasy VX

9. Infamous: Second Son

10. Watch Dogs

11. The Division

12. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

13. Evolve

A good list, right? The thing is there is still many more I want that I will miss out on. I want Super Mario 3D World (Just got my controller back from Nintendo. It was broke.), Donkey Kong Country Returns, Bravely Default, Lighting Returns, and a few others. They are not big ones I want though. There is other far off titles I will get such Halo, Monalith Soft's X, Quantum Break, and Kingdom Hearts 3. I been contemplating if I really want the collector's edition of Titanfall or do I want to get the regular edition and get more games.

Of all these games, the PS3 and 360 will still be awesome because of Dark Souls 2. Its the game I want the most. There is a lot to look forward to on the PS3/360 and I also have the rest of The Wolf Among Us, the second half of Bishock infinite DLC, and the The Left Behind DLC of The Last of Us to look forward to. I do have some money in PSN to utilize. I plan on getting Alien Isolation, Hotline Miami: Wrong Numbers, and such on PSN. What games are you getting in 2014? That is about it for me. The rest of money is going to support my family. I bought and have always bought more games than I should. I am now forced to slow it down regardless if I want to or not. I think the expense of games is one reason why games don't and won't ever go mainstream like movies. Its an expensive hobby.

I want to get The Witcher 3. I have no way of playing it though.

I picked up Bravely Default Friday. I hadn't played it yet.

Right now I know I'm getting South Park and Titanfall day one with Destiny in the far future. Will probably wait on Ground Zeroes for a price drop because it seems a little too pricey and may go for Infamous day one. Also thanks for letting me know about Evolve, it sounds awesome.

Wow, you preordered alot. I think I want every single one of those games on that list too. I don't preorder though.

I have only preordered 3 games in my lifetime: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (PS2), Final Fantasy X (PS2), Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3)

I haven't been paying much attention to what's coming out this year, to be honest. i know that I want South Park and Tales of Symphonia, but that's all I've really noticed.

Destiny, MGSV, and FFX HD are almost confirmed purchases at this point. There's really a lot of others coming out in the next few months that I'm really interested in to. I still have to play Dark Souls, but I know the difficulty that waits for me.

I'm not great at fortelling my future purchases. lol. I "hope" I am able to get Lords Of Shadow 2, Diablo 3, the newest Earth Defense Force, and Dark souls 2 at some point.

What is terminal leave? Some hot games on this list. I agree with all of them.

My short list:
1. Dark Souls 2
2. Bravely Default
3. Lightning Returns

5. Yoshis New Island

Terminal leave is when you take all your vacation days and add them all before the end of your leave date. Its getting out early but getting paid for those days I would have worked.

I want Bravely Default but don't know if that will ever happen.

I don't have Bravely Default either, and it seems to be a really long game and if its good now, it will be good a year or two from now so Im not in a rush.

I am someone who buys 90% of my games in the first day or not at all but because of no job and such, I will have to start changing that. I won't be able to afford all my games at full retail anymore.
