Heres a game I have been trying to get in my ps2 collection for a long time now, yes I have found it at many different stores but I want the game in its original case,manual,and a spotless cd and every time I find it its something wrong with it. I had the game a long while ago and like alot of my games, and im still kicking my a@# for doing that but this one and the devil summoner series, are the one's I really want to add to complete my Atlus collection on the ps2.
And no I dont want to spend $30 on amazon when I can get it at gamestop for $5.
If you can find one for $5 at Gamestop just go for it. Thing is you will never find one in great condition for that price. Most Gamestops/EB Games don't even take PS2 games on trade anymore.
If GS is selling for $5 then you can bet they only gave the poor sap 50 cents for it in trade and anybody stupid enough to take chump change for their games is not likely to have taken care of them.
I hope you can find a copy. It's a great game. I love it.
lmao good point but I have a gamestop only one by my house that actually buys and sells ps2 games and they had devil summoner so I went to get it but someone beat me to it, its $20 bucks at gamestop vrs a $100 plus on amazon and they actually give good deals on ps2 trades but only the good ones

It is kind cool, It's one of those games that uses both analog sticks to move around.

I guess I'm fortunate to have Vintage Stock as an option. It's a chain of stores that sells mostly used stuff. Games,Cd's,comics,records,action figures,you name it. I find amazing stuff there pretty inexpensive,too. That game interests me because I love steampunk stories and artwork. Same way Bioshock pulled me in due to it's steampunk artistry. I think I will see if I can find it. Like you,I'm pretty picky about used game disks and cases. The case I can replace,the disk I can have resurfaced in their AzuraDisk machine. But I want the booklet and the cover art intact. I won't buy loose game disks.
Its actually a really cool game not only is it steampunk its got giant robots you can get in an upgrade I know theres a name for these bots but cant think of it to save my life but any way its got citys towns a world map and stores to repair and upgrade your steambots, and you can battle other bots in an arena so as you can see theres plenty to do even if your not following the main plot, and I guess I may have to order through amazon I may pay more but at least I will get it complete besides the nearest game stop to austin that has it is kileen and then its probably the disc only.
You can find one on half.com for $20 right now. I know it isn't $5, but it isn't $30 either. I find a lot of good deals on ps2 games there.
I might have to check it out how shipping price wise??
Very nice. I remember really wanting this game knowing it was very reminicent of Ghibli. With Ni no Kuni now out, I don't think I'm as eager to play this game, but if I saw a cheap copy I'd jump on it in a heartbeat!
Too bad Atlus doesn't release games like this anymore.
I think the cheapest I've seen this game was $15 new. Come to think of it, I wonder if my local FYE still has it for that price. It's been on clearance over there for the longest time as nobody in my region wants it. By the way, how much is the game going for on Amazon for a used, "Like New" copy?
