Man I have to admit Valkarie Chronicles is a awesome game now I see why everyone said operation Darkness was a VC clone ha ha!! I think PSN+ is good if you think you'll take advantage of the "free" games they offer.  The sales are a bit better too.  Since I can only choose one, I personally like the sales and actual free games offered on XBL.  

 I got it for the games I bought from NIS but free games are a bonus.

Oh and I still have my xbox live not getting rid of that thats for sure .

PSN+ is great if you keep it, but if you don't, then the "free" games are no longer yours. I hae friends who love it and wouldn't be without, but it really didn't impress me all that much. I say try it for a couple of months and decide for yourself.

Personally, I don't think it's worth it, but that's just my opinion.

The fact you can only keep the games if your psn plus isn't great at least with the 360 the two games you get a month are yours no natter what so I tend to agree.

I got a year of plus for free. I forget how. I think it was through a preorder. The fact that you don't keep the free games without the membership had me holding off before I got that windfall.

How much was the PS3? I may get one myself.

The ps3 was 175.00 for the basic new 12 gig but im getting a 500 gig HD for 50.00 bucks and will have a 500 gig ps3 for 225 total plus the basic slim 12 gig has an update for free to play ps2 games as well.

Nice. That sounds pretty reasonable. 

Yes, get PS Plus. Like Rangergirl said, you'll have to keep the membership active but the benefits are beyond ridiculous. You'll lose access to the free games if you don't but any discounted games you buy are yours to keep. I've given Sony so much money this past year and I don't regret it.

By the way, that's quite a haul of games to go with the system. You're gonna love it, sir.

Congrats on the new PS3! Like everyone is saying pickup PS+. The games selection for the "freebies" have been good, and the digital discounts are worth it. Also check out GameStop because a lot of really good PS3 games are cheap.

Congrats on the new PS3! It's a great system and you've already got some great games for it too. I see that you've decided to get PS+. That's a good idea. They give you gobs of free games and you really only have to play a couple of them for the membership to pay for itself  Almost all my Vita games are from PS+ lol

Look at that massive pile of SRPGs that you have been missing out on in a world without a ps3.

Valkyria Chronicles and Ni no Kuni alone are worth getting a PS3 for.

Valkarie Chronicles is awesome my first game I loaded and I love it.

Definitely get PSN+. It's worth it just for the discounts that you'll get, Getting to play games for free is just the icing on the cake. We got Metro Last Light so far this month.

For 50 bucks a year you'll wind up getting your money back on the sales.

My hard drive has over 110 games on it right now.

Yea the freebies look good on Psn plus much better then the 360 :)

You've got a ton of games to catch up on Rodney, You should be busy for a long while.

well the whole reason I got the ps3 was for the strategy games next year I will get a ps4 when the library is bigger.

I like that they've been releasing PSone and PS2 games on PSN. Some titles like Suikoden are hard to come by on disc.
