One of my old DJs is in the newsroom in front of my office trying to find the channel Olympics are on.
He is not having much success.

Hey Pixlbit, Happy Monday! Everyone have a good weekend? Anything cool happen? I spent the weekend playing The Lego Movie: Videogame, watching the Olympics, and snuck in a nap. This is a new week, which mean more Blog A Day from yours truly. For this week I thought I would showcase another one of my interests…Music! More specifically, what’s on my iPod. So this week it’s What’s On My iPod or WOMiP. I tend to keep favorite songs, new stuff, podcasts, and audiobooks on there but I want to talk about certain playlists, and other fun stuff. Sound good? Cool, so to start off WOMiP week let’s talk about the actual setup
This is my 64GB iPod Touch 4th Generation with a FiiO E11 Headphone Amplifier.
They are attached together by Velcro, and this is my go to setup whenever I leave the house.
These are my over the ear headphones
On the left are my Sennheiser HD 428’s, which I use for working outside, walking, and gym use. Since they are Sennheiser, they are flat in sound which is fine, but if you like tons of bass you have to modify them (I think you just remove some dampening padding inside the shell). My other pair is my V-Moda Crossfade LP’s. These are a bit bass heavy, but with playing around with the iPod equalizer, I feel has a really nice sound. I use these in house, traveling, and sometimes when I go walking.
These are my walk around in public earphones
The Klipsch s4. I didn’t get the s4i because I don’t need the cord microphone I listen to 99% of my music on my iPod and not phone.
These are my two screens on my iPod
I don’t do much on my iPod other than listen to music, and sometimes the radio.
And this is my playlist windows
The first list is home to all the playlists that I manually add music to, like Podcasts, and the group of songs I want to listen to. iPod Smallz is my playlist for all the songs from my 8GB iPod (it’s usually stuff I already have on this iPod). Shuffle Playlist is music on my iPod Shuffle which is around 100 songs. Theme Playlists are lists like Favorite Month songs, Shame list, and other playlists. Smart Playlists all the songs that are already rated (4* and 5* songs) and placed into groups. I have groups for songs from high school, growing up, college, and now for years. GP Stuff are songs I bought from Google Music.
My next screen of playlists
The JT playlist is because I wanted to listen to my favorites from his first two albums. Mixtapes is self explanatory, New Music is all the albums that I bought that I haven’t listened to yet. Purchased is all the stuff I bought from iTunes that is still on my iPod, and 5 Star is my absolute favorite songs.
So for this week we shall take a trip through some of the albums/playlists/podcasts, and books.
Before I end today’s BaD,
CURLING IS HERE! I stayed up early this morning just to watch this.
That’s all for now, more later!

Nice! old guy moment: Back in my day I used to go to class with a portable CD player, and CD wallet with 24 discs. Having to swap albums was kind of a pain, and waiting the 30 seconds for the Anti Skip to kick in was just part of life.
I don't know what it is but damn that sport is entertaining, and I'd also like to try.
It's all good, I actually had a younger cousin of mine help me set up my laptop because I've been a die hard PC user. Heck even now I will Google how to do certain things because I have no idea how it works or how to get to it on my Mac.
Props to you for getting you music digitized! How are you liking your mp3 player?
I haven't seen it yet. My plans are not going as well as I'd like. Not a big deal because I will probably see it this week.
I look forward to your review, I finished the game Sunday, and I'm just playing around to grab all the extras I can find. There are some things that could have been better, but I do like the Lego games.
I have a 8GB 2nd generation iPod Touch. I'd love to get the 5th gen one sometime. This thing just keeps on working though. The only reason I'd want to upgrade is for the higher OS to play current games. As it is, it's great for music, and podcasts, my primary use for it.
I know what you mean. I had a 5th gen iPod Video that kept working. I broke the screen, swap it out with one from a broken system. Hell I even replaced the battery, but one day the motherboard decided to call it a career. Dang thing ran for 8 years.
The new ones are nice. My cousin got one for Christmas. All she uses it for s Facetime, iMessage, and iTunes Radio.
