As I'm writing this, I woke up 30 minutes ago. It was 3 p.m. and I need to be at work by at least 4:30 p.m. So this will be brief.

The first thing I did once I got out of bed is pull up my Gamefly account and cancel my membership. Like so many times in the past, my attention to my membership and any games I've rented has slipped and it truly doesn't matter to me at the moment. I have no doubt that I'll renew sometime in the future but there's just too much else on my plate.

Supposedly this is the last really cold day of the week (cold meaning that the high only goes as far as 30 degrees) and I'm looking forward to the predicted temps of next week, where it's mostly in the early to mid 60s. Winter was just an asshole this year and it lasted so long that I bet there'll be a period where I'll have to get used to warmer temps. I'll probably keep making the mistake of putting too much clothing on or turning on my heater by reflex.

Not a lot that I can add. I'm looking forward to getting back home and catching up on the new episode of Justified. I'll probably start on True Detective as well because I'm sick of reading about the love on Twitter and missing out.

My thoughts are the same has Joe's, winter has been the bigget bitch this year in texas. Im ready for it to go away. I used Gamefly once and never went back, My sister however has informed the service has improved a lot better then it was when I first tryed it. I might give it a go again once things settle on my end.

It's actually a fine service. I've been an on-and-off again member for the past 3-4 years, never staying on for more than 3-5 months. In that time I usually buy a few items from them and before long I have a lot to play that I can't focus on whatever they send me in the mail.

I love winter. But then again, I'm a thick-blooded northerner and I actually like the cold. Weird, I know.

How is the new season of Justified? I don't have cable, so I have to wait for episodes to show up for free on Amazon Prime before I can afford to watch it.

Justified is excellent as always. Like previous seasons I have no idea where they're going with the setup but it usually ends up all kinds of awesome. As far as Amazon Prime goes, you probably won't get the current season episodes until the season is released on dvd (i.e., end of this year or next year). You can purchase the new episodes on Prime, though.

I like the cold too. I keep thinking of moving farther north. I was thinking of the area around Albany since it's near Green Mt. National Forest and The Adirondacks. Just need a good job up that way and I'm off.

I never got into Gamefly.  I just prefer to buy the game I'm interested in.  If they had a Streaming service like Netflix, I might reconsider.

I used to have Gamefly and would quit it every 6 months or so and then come back. At some point I just stopped because I got annoyed that I always got the games near the bottom of my list first.

Same thing happened to me. Epic Greenman told me to just empty the queue and put only the title you want (or a few/handful) and you'd have a better shot of receiving it. Netflix's disc service handles this problem so much better.

My buddy did that. He'd only put one title up there and then they'd have to send it to you. I thought it was fun to fill up the cue but then I never got even my top ten games. Netflix almost always gives you your top pick first.

And that drove me nuts. On Netflix I actually took enjoyment from building my queue and selecting titles. On Gamefly, they seem to punish you for doing that. Luckily, I really wanted to play all the games on the list but still, Gamefly, your service has been around for that long and you haven't solved that problem?

I keep debating if I should even try Gamefly if only to test out the newer games I don't get around to till much later.

It's either that or PS+ but even them I'm not sure if I'd make the time to play given my life at the moment.
