I'm a fan of pizza. And honestly I'm sure many people can say the same. You have Mom & Pop pizza chains, corporate pizza chains, store bought and more. Now I prefer my local pizza chains moreso than the corporate ones. Some of the best pizza I've had has come froom a dive in the middle of nowhere called Tony's Pizzaria. And while I could always give love to dives and dumps I'm just gonna rank pizza from best to worst....granted this is based on my taste preferences...so take with it what you will.

6. Gas Station Pizza

Now I can't say for certain whether all gas stations have a deli of some sort. I can't even say all gas stations have pizza. Some do pretzels, hot dogs, some do nothing. However, I know of at least 4 gas stations around me that serve pizza...and it's not very good most of the time. Some offer more choices than others, but the results are usually the same for each.

Worst: Cheese/ Best: There is no best...but the buffalo ranch chicken is tolerable.

5. Subway Pizza

Subway got into making things other than subs awhile ago, but  the results aren't that great. You can get it on a round shell or flatbread, but I feel as though oven baked pizza should be better. Maybe it's because of the texture, the marinara, or just something...but you can get better pizza.

Worst:Cheese on flatbread/Best: Again chicken makes a better pizza with chicken bacon ranch or buffalo chicken with ranch.

4. Chuck E Cheese Pizza

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....Okay I know it sucks something awful. But it's pizza that's better than the first 2.

Worst: Um...almost everything.../Best:Barbecue chicken or supreme can mask that bad cheesy taste enough.

3.Store Bought/Papa John's

I like both store bought and Papa John's equally. Both have faults. Both have strengths. Some store bought pizza is absolutely terrible (Think generic brands) while the more versatile Digiorno or Tombstone know the way to make a frozen pizza. Meanwhile, Papa John's has some nice things based on ingredients and sauce, but you gotta know what to order or you'll be in for untasteful crap

Worst: Depending on generic it's cheese. Meanwhile, Papa has some cardboard crust that creates a flat taste for any of it's pizza./ Best: Digiorno or Tombstone...Papa has a pizza called the works that's not too bad.

2. Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut has been the king of greasy pizza goodness that I have come to love since childhood. And it's added a slew of excellent side choices from hershey dunkers to chicken alfredo pasta dishes. But it's also that greasy goodness that can make you get a queasy feeling. Grease is a two way feeling my friends.

Worst: Pizza Hut's wings are garbage, but since this is about pizza it's choice to give you cheese pizza with extra cheese with a cheese filled crust...yeah thats just too much cheese my friends. Best: I've always loved their supreme pizza.

1. Domino's

And number 1 wouldn't have been number 1 had they continued how they were, but since their revamp of their signature pizza (now with a garlic buttered crust....Domino's has become ever more my favorite and at times can be greasy good like pizza hut! *drools....mmmm grease....*

Best: Philly cheese steak with peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Worst: I'm not a fan of their artisan pizzas....they just don't have it there.

Anyways that's my list. What are some of your favorite pizza chains or favorite pizza choices?  Comments and feedback are always greatly appreciated!

Hard to say. When I lived in Toronto I used to have all kinds of choice, usually from independently owned one-off pizza joints

I used to live within walking distance of 3 of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto. One of them, Capi's (not to be confused with Poppi's) had the best meatball and roasted red pepper pizza in the free world.

One place called Milano's was the place my friends and I ordered from all through our teenage years and into our 20's. Pepperoni, mushrooms and onions used to be a staple.

When I got married I was reminiscing about Milano's to my wife and so when I found it was still around we ordered. What a load of crap. Nothing like I remembered at all.

In London, Ontario there's not much that I'd rave about.

Yeah I know of a few other local restaurants and pizza places around me. I often try to order from them when I can.

It sucks that toppers isn't more widespread.  They have one of my favourite crusts for pizza.

For the most I stay away from big chains anyways.  We have quite a few good local pizza joints around these parts, but I prefer to make my own from scratch.  I have gotten quite good by this point in my life.

I'll say. I just looked and saw the page. Looks good, but closest one is in Cincinnati. Cry

My favorite is far and away Grimaldi's. I go there every birthday since I discovered it on McKinney Ave. in Dallas. It's actually originally a famous NY chain that branched out. Best: white w/garlic cheese topped w/pesto and pepperoni. Worst (still amazing): the sausage and onions pizza my dad gets. They're both delicious, though, I always have a few pieces of either.

My favorite Papa John's is their Alfredo/Spinach, but I also like the thin crust Works pizza my dad orders when the Texas Rangers win by 7+ during baseball season (when this happens; which is actually fairly often; you can enter the code Rangers7 and get your order half off). However, normal the normal price of their pizza is way too damn high for what it is.

Pizza Hut is ok. I used to love their stuffed crusts as a kid, now I go when my friend Austin does. It's good, but not my favorite.

I agree about Domino's revamping, they really turned things around. They used to be my least favorite as far as chains.

I remember liking Chuck E. Cheese pizza, but last time I had it was in high school at a friend's cousin's birthday or something.

I had no idea Subway made pizza. I actually kinda like gas station treats. You have any feelings on Red Baron? And as far as frozen, I agree with Tomstone being good, but I was very surprised how good a California kitchen pizza we had one time was.

I like red baron. It's a good store bought pizza. Of course there are so many varieties that I can't distinguish most, but find the name brands usually enjoyable. That's a cool thing the rangers do for their fans too.

I've never liked Pizza Hut for whatever reason. Always seemed somewhat tasteless to me and the crust is not what I like. Papa Johns is decent but I would agree with putting it on the same scale as DiGiornos. There's a few great local places around me that we frequent when getting delivery. I could name names but it's not like anyone would go out of there way to get pizza in Pittsburgh Smile

Yeah I try not to drive any more than 20-30 minutes for pizza lol.

If I have to choose from commercial brands, the closest will be Domino's and one in Colombia called Piccolo's, which is fantastic.

For the most part, i'm more of a fan of Pizza from independent stores, Italian restaurants and my own home-made pizza.

Yeah I enjoy all the independent chains and homemade pizza.

I've never liked Chuck E. Cheese pizza.  Even as a kid I'd eat one slice to make my parents happy, and then go off to play arcade games with the mouse.  Years later, when I had little brothers, when they were at the age to go to Chuck E. Cheese, I would order their Italian sub sandwich instead.  It was actually pretty good.

I also don't like gas station pizza or CiCi's.

Pizza Hut isn't the best in the world, but it's still pretty decent so that's what we usually get nowadays.  When I was a kid, Little Caesar's was the bomb.  An order from them and rented SNES games from Pay-Less Video was many a Friday night as a kid.

When I was little, there was a Tilt Arcade in the mall with a Flying Tomato Bros. pizza right next to it.  The pan pizza there was so thick it was like eating a cake.

Also, as a kid we had a Pizza Inn near our house that had arcade games in the back.  We went there every week.

There used to be Mr. Gatti's pizza places all over the place, but I haven't seen any since college.  I liked their pizza, too.

We ordered Papa John's pizza in college a lot because it was right next to the dorm.

There is an Italian place near my house now that has a awesome Sicilian pizza.

Dang, now I'm hungry!

Yeah Chuck E Cheese is a play first eat later mentality for anyone I believe. I can't believe I forgot about Little Ceasar's and Cici's. Really the best thing about Cici's is the cinnamon rolls. And Ceaser's has some good deep dish varieties.
