Dynasty Warriors 8...Why??

On Feb 28th Japan got the release of Dynasty Warriors 8 and normally in these cases we here in the US atleast have a release date for it or an announcement of it coming here and Im beginning to slowly but surely lose hope in it. Ill aceppt the fact if they only do another digital release and dont have english voices even though I prefer it atleast on a disc, Ill take digital to have it. They have a good deal of people day in and out screaming for an overseas release. I being one of them. Ive kept up with this series for a long time and just not to get it here would be a huge disappointment.

I guess well have to sit and play the waiting game, its normally what we get handed with -_-

If your like me and your wanting this game to come here do urself a favor, go voice your opinion. Whether its on facebook, twitter, or sending an email to the actual company itself. Maybe if we yell loud enough they will hear us.

I played DW 3 once, but they have just come out with so many of these games that I don't know where to start anymore. Which is the best in the series so I can check it out?

Personally I loved DW7, they did change story mode and take out free mode in it but it was still a really good game with a lot to do on it. DW7 also has the newest kingdom Jin in it which will be in DW8. So my vote is for that one.

This is the way it's going to be now, especially for PS3 owners. Warriors Orochi 3, One Piece, Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires, Ken's Rage 2. They're all going digital and if you want the physical copy you'll have to import it from Europe (or buy the 360 version in the US, if it exists). I've basically given up on the series at this point. If KOEI doesn't want to wrestle with Sony and fight for the right to release the games on disc over here, there's nothing I can do to support them. The file size for these games are too large and disk space is tight for me, and I have no interest in paying disc-based prices for digital goods.

That said, I'm fairly certain we'll get Dynasty Warriors 8 over here. You just have to give it a few more months to hear an announcement (we just got Empires, after all).

I know, just sometimes by now we do have the announcement atleast. The only game I played in the 7th generation was the main game. I dont even know if Ill get Empires at the moment when I do have a PS3 again. Im a big DW fan and Ive just been too excited for 8 to abandon it even if it goes digital but something makes me hopeful it will be different. On a page I found it has list of voice actors on it and the english side still needs to be filled but its there, so maybe a good sign.

I don't know about Dynasty Warriors... but I was looking forward to Ken's Rage 2 eventually when it came down in price. I guess I won't be getting it now that it's only digital. Man that sucks. I'll never agree with going fully digital. It's nice to see you here! Been a while huh?

Yes it def has been, Im finally back to being in the world of video games even if I cant play them again jsut yet. I got a new job so thats soon to follow of course! I dont agree with all digital stuff but Im just going to learn to except that one day we might be faced with that option only.

Dynasty Warriors is one of my favorites games since PS2, and what i really love about this game is that i never got bored from playing it, even when i was playing a japanes version of the game.

Ive never gotten bored either, there was always a lot to get done in each game that it could keep you entertained for hours. Ill be buying DW7 and Xtreme legends for it when I can and hopefully I can use them to stay busy till DW8 gets over here.
