BaD #08 & 09: Network don't fail me!

I wanted to blog last night. I really did. But once again my internet was throttle down to literally nothing. “Teh Wife” was starting to think that someone was jacking our Wi-Fi so she had me reset the router and change our passwords again. So I’ve spent most of the night trying to re-log into all the wireless devices we have with the new password I set. She even had me get rid of the Wi-Fi setting for her Nintendo DS, given that she’s hardly ever used it. It was actually my “Little One” that used it the most with her DS for those pokemon games. So I hope I’m not breaking the rules if I happen to lump two blogs together since I didn’t have the means to upload it on the day I was supposed to. As much as I’d like to keep up I’m not driving to my nearest free wi-fi hotspot just to post a blog.

And the worst part of that little exercise: it didn’t fix a damn thing!

Of course the internet was fine today but if this happens again I’m going to have to call our cable internet company about this. It’s not like we are on the east coast right now…

Speaking of which, as of this writing it sounds like once again the east coast is to be hit with massive snow. Thankfully my family (and I hope all of my allies out there) are heeding the advice of the wise and keeping indoors. Though my area is missing the snow, and I know we are going to regret not getting any of it given our water table is low, we don’t mind that the east coast is going to have “all the fun”.

Enjoy New England I say as I laugh in glee over your latest round of winter weather. Hopefully it won’t ruin your Valentine’s Day.

I decided on which Bluetooth headset I’m going to get. Hopefully it’ll work on my “dumb” phone and my PS3. My Dual memory card shell won’t be in till the end of the month but I can wait. Moreso given what I have in store for it.

Since I didn’t post a picture from yesterday, here’s a two for the price of one. I doubt there is any change but you can see I’m starting to get a bit shaggy.

Wise “BaD” Message of the day: If SWAT happens to beat down your door and orders you to “get on your knees” DO NOT respond with “I’m not your mother last night.”

Haha love the joke at the end.

Looks like we both had to double blog.

Do you have Time Warner by any chance?

And I'm glad it's getting warmer, but the freezing without any snow days is getting old here in Texas.

Thanks. I only wish I came up with it myself =(

It had to happen so that's the best we could do I guess.

I actually have some local internet service that isn't really named after a major ISP. I'm sure it's owned by someone though. So hopefully it's not with TW.

i thinki there might be a few taht would evny your situation of cold with no snow. Many are getting tired of the white stuff. I on the other hand is reveling that others are getting the snow. They can have it!

Yeah, I definitely come from a completely different perspective regarding snow.

Geez, hope you find out what's wrong with your Wi-Fi soon.

I have thanks and it sucks that my ISP is the reason behind it. Atleast I got a month's credit after complaining to them.

Though I have been keeping up my blogs just fine, I can defnitly apply your sentiments on keeping up with other blogs and commenting.

I have several blogs I posted in the wee hours for the previous day. I suppose in the final scoring, those won't count, but my day runs from 12pm-4am roughly.

I've kinda used "time" to my advantage too give now one site I blog on for BAD is on the west coast and the rest are in the east.

Timetravel: it can be done!

Man, I forgot about time zones. What a pain we live on a globe orbitting another globe. Why can't it always be sunny on Earth.
