That's a ton of PS1 games! I only have 12. I used to have a lot more, but like a complete and utter idiot, got rid of them. I kept my favorites though. Like Final Fantasy Tactics, Parasite Eve, and what not. Tenchu is great. I love the horrible voice acting. 

It's okay. I feel the same way about my SNES games. It happens sometimes. And yeah, Tenchu was great. They should totally remake it.

I thought only the initial PS3 units were BC, so did you buy it around launch?

Anyway, Tony Hawk's and Tenchu are good games.

I do have a 60G launch unit, but I got it a few years ago. As far as I know, all of the PS3 consoles can play original Playstation games.

i bought a copy of Xenogears semi-recently, man it got expensive to buy. Love that game. I have all my PSX games still. I don't have as many as you do, but some good ones: Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy 7-9, FF Tactics, Resident Evil 1-3, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Legend of Legaia...alot of RPG's as well, lol. Never got Parappa the Rapper though.

Yeah, I have all of those.

Did you ever playthrough Legend of Dragoon? That was always on of my favorite PSX RPG's.

Wow, that's impressive! The Playstation has so many awesome RPGs and fighting games (and a lot of other stuff too). I'm trying to increase my collection too, but those PS1 games are so expensive!

Try used game stores, flea markets and video stores. Trying to buy them online is a rip off, unfortunately 

Hooray for Klonoa and Tomba!  I loved the PSOne, it's one of my favorite game consoles (but not as good as the SNES).

Klonoa got a sequel and a remake. Tomba only got a sequel. Still, they're great! I love most of the platformers for that system. Try Silhouette Mirage if you ever get the chance.

Oh I have Silhouette Mirage.  One problem I have with Treasure is most of their games are way too hard and overrated.  While SM is one of the better ones, it's still that way.  Really the only Treasure game I really liked was Astro Boy: Omega Factor for the GBA.

I sure had some good times with the PS1. Still have all my games kicking around. Along with MGS, Vagrant Story, and FF Tactics, some of my favorites were FFVII and VIII, Legend of Dragoon, Pac-Man World and Rayman. Even though I wasn't a huge fan of Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross probably found its way into my system the most. I beat that game like ten times because with the fast-forward option, the game could be beaten in two hours!

I remember that! Although I could only stand going through the game one time. It's too bad that the game has not aged well at all, at least the graphics.

I have 22 games for it. I'd like to build it some more and picked up a few more recently. All those RPGs and stuff are pricey now, but I'd love to have them. I got Vagrant Story on PSN recently. Still, it would be nice to have it in it's original form.

I have around 40 or so PS1 games, and at leat 24 of them are RPGs. Valkyrie Profile, Xenogears, Suikoden, and Koudelka are a few of my rarer games. Favorites include Dragon Warrior VII, Legend of Dragoon, Lunar Silver Star Story Complete, Lunar Eternal Blue Complete, and the Arc the Lad Collection.
