BaD 12: Random Week: Red, White, & Blueeee....tooth

Happy Tuesday Pixlbit! I’m getting Tuesday started off right. I have a bunch of BaD to read which is going to fun, and after spending almost the entire day camped out on the couch watching a certain reality show…and it’s reunion show with some Olympics thrown in, being in front of a laptop is a nice change of pace (I’m also reading and typing outdoors). To continue my Random Week blog here are a couple of quick thoughts for today

This is easily my favorite commercial. “Talking ‘bout that red, white, and bluuuuuueeeee….tooth. Every time this commercial airs, I’m laughing.

Since it’s hard to stay away from the Olympics for me, especially with the ESPN App spoiling results it was finally nice to watch some Ice Dancing. Yes I’m not big on this sport, and like I mentioned on Twitter, if Ice Dancing was a drinking game, and you drank when the talking head would say “Twizzler” you’d all be drunk and probably in the ER.

Anyways USA Brings home the GOLD! U-S-A! U-S-A!

And USA Women’s Hockey tried to destroy Sweden taking 70 shots on goal. I don’t take that many shots on goal in my old copy of NHL 11. USA vs. Canada is going to be good!

Anyways I must be off to make some breakfast, and read all your BaD stuff!...oh did you guys/gals/folks in a spaceship overlooking Earth check out the big 360 sale? I found a couple of games that I've been watching for a bit.

If I tried reading and typing outdoors right now, I'd end up with frostbite.

I'll have to check out the 360 sale, but I don't have any money in my account to buy anything.

Ouch. I had to move inside while typing because the sun was getting to be a bit annoying. I wish we took a little of your cold weather and you could have some of our warmth, it would make the outside temp be a bit more normal.

The temp's been fairly normal for February in Maine, so I really can't complain. And as long as it keeps throwing winter storms at us, I'd prefer it to stay cold. Snow's so much easier to deal with when it's powder, and way easier to deal with than ice. Plus, I really don't mind the cold. I can always put another sweater on, lol. When it's hot, there's only so much you can take off before you get arrested in public.

Yeah, but something tells me it would take a while before you'd get arrested in Florida. Crazy ass wang state ...

I really wish I could watch these hockey matches ... stupid streaming only lets you watch for 30 minutes if you can't prove you have a cable package with NBC. Ugh.

@Rangergirl: I wish we would have normal weather. It's a little warm, and windy when it should be cooler...and windy. I'm currently debating if I should check out the local fair today but I'm going to see if it gets too windy to enjoy various BBQ and deep fried foods.

@JoeStep: Oh Florida...don't get me started on that state. It would be nice if NBC would just allow the games to be streamed for free. They make enough off of advertisements, heck every commercial is "We support Team USA, buy our product". Hockey has been good. I've been up since 6:30 to watch the final period of Finland vs Russia.

Sometimes I wonder what the presidents would think about their images being used to sell things to people, but they'd probably be more concerned with all the crazy advancements in tech and stuff to care.

I got three games on Tuesday: Dust: An Elysian Tale ($3), Dante's Inferno ($3), and Bastion ($3). I'm going to check every day because Major Nelson's podcast said they are doing a lot of sales this week. Weehoo! Also, I started a thread in the Forums about it.

Oh man I went a little crazy again. I bought Driver San Francisco, Rock Band Blitz and the Paramore pack, Dirt 3, and currently I saw that Ridge Racer Unbounded was $4.99 so that's currently downloading. Thank goodness I had a bunch of credit.

I already had RR: Unbounded as a physical copy otherwise I would've got that too.
