Time for another BaD idea, BaDass Idea

Just pretend this is a series I've been doing already.

From trending topics on Facebook today:

Michelle Rodriguez is bisexual and dating some English model named Cara. That's BaDass! I'll spare you details on why I think so. *Ahem* Yay in-shape women ...

Irrational games is shutting its doors so the head guy can work on a project with Take-Two that will have a smaller team. This could go either way. I need to play Bioshock, but not until I've finished my other Steam games.

Capitol One apparently now has the authority to show up at your goddamn house asking for money. Banking with them is a BaD idea, and from now on we must look to Iceland, and rocks, as examples when dealing with incompetent or unethical banking practices here in the U.S.

Thank you. That is all.

I bank with a credit union.

We've talked about this before, and once I'm out of school and they're able to charge me stupid monthly fees again, I very well might move from Chase to a credit union.

Everyone seems to pining the blame of all those layoffs on Ken Levine, when really the highest likelyhood was that Take-Two laid off everyone, leaving Levine to deliver the news. Levine doesn't own the studio, Take Two does. I don't see how Levine could have the power to shut it down. If Infinite really did cost $200 million, the game is bleeding red and it was only until they released their promised DLC that everyone would get sacked.

All I read was the statement by Levine, so if it sounds like I was accusing him of shutting it down, it may be the fact his statement made it sound like he was the one laying people off and starting on his new project. Maybe Take Two looked over his shoulder while he wrote that.

Yea the article suggested Ken wanted to go in a different direction creatively and work with a smaller team. It sounds like they are helping the employees a lot to get new jobs.

I just read the Gamespot article about Ken Levine closing Irrational Games to do smaller projects. I'm thinking he's going the way of Double Fine and we'll be seeing smaller games for PC, downloads on consoles, and phones/tablet games. This could actually be cool. I can't wait to see what he comes up with.

I have no idea. Never even played Bioshock yet, I just thought it was interesting gaming news.

Didn't know Irrational Games closed its doors. Let's see how they do from now on.

So Michelle Rodriguez is dating a model? Nice.

Not a fan of Captiol One, or their mascot challenges. Thank goodness my bank doesn't do this and for folks who do their banking with them it's time to switch.

Yup. :)

And yeah, as I told RangerGirl I'm considering a credit union more and more every day.

I love Michelle and I hate corrupt-ass banks! Beyond that, I look forward to what Ken does and I hope all the people at irrational games quickly find work again!

Pretty much.

Even though I don't think I've played a game made by Irrational Games, it sucks that they closed their doors.

I haven't either yet.

oh goodie. anohter hollywood actress that embrases 'that" aspect...

me thinking all that came about with bioshock infinite might've had a hand in irrational shutting down. Sure it made loads of money but see how flawed it was compared to other bioshock titles.

well we'll see if Take Two continues the franchise.

It's odd to think that Capital One was the first bank to give me a credit card back in the day. So much has changed...

To each their own, I say.

I'm not really up to speed on the Infinite development process, nor have I played it. In fact, I still need to boot up my copy of Bioshock on Steam. I wouldn't be surprised by a continuation of the franchise, though. If it was flawed, I don't think its earnings reflected that.

Yup. JPMorganChase is the first and only bank I've ever banked with. No idea what else is true of Capital One, but that story and the fact Chaes decided to charge me a fee for not depositing enough each month I'm not enrolled in classes has made me consider a credit union more and more each day.
