Is a grab bag like when you're on a date and there's a hole in the popcorn bag? Cause I'm not seeing the comics connection. I kinda want to read old Spawn comics.

LOL thats awesome. Spawn is one of the coolest comic book characters. I love the darker nature of his character.

Yeah, I watched Bennet the Sage's review of the HBO series last night and started watching some of that show last night. It was great to sleep to, cause the voices are recorded really quiet. 

I remember the Spawn game was one of the first times I noticed game ratings (it was Y-7 I think). 

I am surprised there are not more spawn video games. All I can remember is there was one for the Gamecube. Third Person game that was not all that fantastic.There might have been one on the Genesis.

Looks like Spawn Armageddon was cross-platform for GCN and PS2, probably XBOX as well. As for the Genesis, I played the SNES Spawn, but don't remember it being on Genesis.

Might want to look up DC's vertigo line. Sandman,Book of magic,and The Preacher are all really good! Witchblade, The Darkness, Hack N Slash, and Dark Childe are sort of "super-heroish" but they are more "urban",realistic, and supernatural driven with just a touch of horror thrown in.

Hack N' Slash just sounds pretty cool. I heard Sandman is amazing.

Most of what I get in comics is non super-hero stuff like: Wastland, Umbral, EGOs, Fuse, Trillium, and The Massive.

I added you on Backloggery too. I hope you don't mind. There's so much comic book stuff out there that I wouldn't know where to begin lol. I've always been into X-Men. Some manga too. Pretty much anything by Rumiko Takahashi is good.

Oh sweet, I will def add you. Thats where I am at when I think of comic books. There is just so much and so much good stuff. I might get a omnibus or something so I can get a whole collection.

For comic recommendations, you should take a look at Scott Pilgrim and The Walking Dead. If you accept manga, I recommend Fullmetal Alchemist.

I loved the Scott Pilgrim movie. The comic might be something really cool to look into. Thanks for that. 

For non super hero comics, I really enjoy American Vampire (makes vampires cool again), The Manhatten Projects, Fatale and Scott Pilgrim (my fave obviously). Cost wise, I find Amazon to be the best for trades if you were gonna go that way

I have been trouble finding stuff to get and where to get it. I appreciate the recommendations. I think I will be going with Scott Pilgrim. I'll have to be looking on Amazon for any other good comics to pick up. What is Manhattan Projects about?

It's an alternate history with the characters being real life scientists and historical figures like Enrico Fermi and Harry Truman. Story goes into how the real life Manhatten Projects was just a cover from some additional studies. It's an interesting idea

Just curious since I see you guys using Backloggery - any suggestions for PixlBit's Game Collection stuff that I can add to make it more robust/enticing to use?

Oh snap, I didn't even realize that was a feature. I think it would be cool on the main hub that shows all the consoles if had a games completed number too with the Collection, Wishlist and Date Modified. 

I can definitely start working in some of that. I'm actually planning a pretty big overhaul to the Collection tool - I'm guessing you're not the only one who didn't notice it. It's fairly inconspicuous and it's not tied into the rest of the site much.

That is awesome. I will totally use it more now that I know it is there.
