Hi there, everyone. This will be a quick post tonight. I got my Injustice arcade stick today and have been actively putting it through its paces. I didn't like it at first but I'm slowly coming around to it. Speaking of controllers, that's today's topic. What are your favorite controllers? Do you have a favorite controller for a certain type of game? For example I have an old Mad Catz, Universal Driving Wheel I dig up when I play some of my arcade racers on my PS2, GC, or Xbox. What do you like in a controller? That's all I got for now. See you on Friday!

My favorite controller is actually a third party SNES controller called the ASCII Pad.  It wasn't much different than a regular SNES controller, but it had turbo switches for all the buttons and was very light.  It just felt natural and I swore by that thing.

When the NES came out, I hated the square controllers, so I only used a NES Advantage joystick.

I like the PlayStation Dual Shock controllers pretty well, too.  360 ones are nice except for the D-pad.  N64 controllers worked well for games that were designed for them.

I was not a big fan of Dreamcast and GameCube controllers.

I'm not a fan of either of the DC or the GC controllers either. I actually have two adapters for PS2 controllers to use them on a GC or an Xbox. Its really awesome and they still works over 10 years later.

I have actually liked all the playstation controllers, I know a lot of people kind of  disliked PS3's but I enjoyed using  it. Im actually really happy with the new DualShock 4 and its def a fave of mine. Just wish they would announce release dates for the Magma Red and Wave Blue ones :(

Part of the reason why I got a PS3 was the controller. Its the only controller I can use for fighting games. I wish the controller was a bit more heavier. I don't know but the heavier PS2 controller feels better to me.

Gotta go with the SNES controller and Playstation 2 controller. But honestly, the 360 controller reaches my upper tiers too! I never had too many problems with any console controller, really.

The only controllers I had problems with was the GC, DC and the orinigal Xbox controller. But I could find ways around to work with them. At least until I got two adapters that allowed me to use a PS2 controller on a GC and Xbox.

I have to go with the Gamecube controller, I just love it. I love everything about it, the button placements, the stick placement, the triggers, well everything. It seems like they designed the buttons for specific actions, like you know the c-stick was the camera stick, the a button for action, the triggers for firing. If it wasn't for the c-stick and d-pad, this would of been the perfect controller in my opinion. I just like the button placement and the general feel of it. To date no controller has ever felt right in my hands.

That's why I favor the 360 controller over the PS3, I mean look at it, the buttons are in the exact same place as the Gamecube controller. It seems like they took what was good from the GCN controller and made it better. I love the 360 controller because it feels like a GCN controller. Sadly my Gamecube controller finally gave all it had to give late last year. Need to buy a new one.

We're pretty much in the same boat. Even the broken controller thing (well actually, my GCN controller just won't move directly forward, making only certain games unplayable and I replaced it with one with an iffy R button ... and the Mad Catz one is a crapshoot).

I love that PC games usually support the 360 controller.

I'm the opposite.  I don't hate the GC controller but man long hours on that thing were murder on your hands. It wasn't until recently that I got a 360 controller for my laptop. Its clearly made for FPSs and it works great on a racing games...but fighting games its not particularity great.

My fav is the Dreamcast Fishing Rod Controller. I wish I could play every game with it and that includes non-fishing games.

I actually I remeber reading a magazine that said you could use that controller on Soul Calibur. I really want that controller now to try that!

The logitech wireless PS2 controller and the Wavebird.

I never got a wireless controller until my PS3. I always wanted to try it but heard that controller has no rumble in it.

The Logitech had rumble, the Wavebird didn't. I usually turn rumble off so I wasn't missing anything.

The Wii U Pro Controller. That thing is a dream. It's like the GameCube controller perfected.

I have heard a lot of good things about that controller too.

I kinda liked to old fat original Xbox controller. It fit my hands really snug and just felt right. Other than that, I like the 360 and dualshock 3 equally. I've yet to try any of the new generations controllers but I head the dualshock 4 is amazing.

PS2's controller is my favorite controller. There's something about how it fits into my hands which is really great. Plus, its the only one that I can play fighitng games on.

Maybe because of repeated uses and getting comfortable to it, the Wiimote, either alone or with Nunchuck. I just felt they are right in my hand.

On the few times i've played a PS3, i've liked the Dualshock 3.

The Wiimote is a great controller but only when it doesn't freak out. Motion plus is an awesome, yet really dumb that it wasn't put in the first place, attachment that made it a lot better.

I like the Gamecube controller, though the PS2's was pretty good too.

The PS2's was my favorite controller. PS3 has to be second in place.
