It's funny how this game is a (mostly) love it or (a few people like Nick) hate it affair.
Maybe love and hate are too strong to use in this context, but you know what I mean.

I been playing way too much BF4 that I have been neglecting other games. I did though finally jump into The Last of Us DLC Left Behind and played it all in one sitting. The DLC lived up to the incredible experience that The Last of Us delivered.
I have to say that this game was as emotionally entertaining and fun as I had hoped for. It was well paced and fleshed out Ellie and showcased the relationship she had with Riley. It was creative how the mini games kept things fresh with its nice diversions and was the tool used to play out their relationship. It was also nice how how it mixed that with Ellie getting the necessary medical supplies to save Joel. Games like this prove that beyond awesome gameplay, you can improve experiences through amazing storytelling.
There's a vocal minority that includes this site's director, Nick DiMola (re: his forum about the game, in which he gave his impressions) and the woman in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmScHZ62iCQ at one point says it started too slowly for her to get interested, I believe.
I don't know who else has expressed negative opinions about it, but I still want to play it to at least experience it if I ever get a PS3 or play it some other way.
