Any Twin Peaks fans out there? Get the connection?

Things are okay here. It's very warm. I was working on the game here all day and talked to my friend who is going to do the Forgetter 3D model for the main character. I'm not good at modeling, but I can do a little. Animation is hard too. I am using a lot of stock, cheap stuff, but my friend is doing me a favor on a couple of pieces.

Worked on dialogue today and went through the soundtrack. Figuring crap out.

oh yeah: the fly. Instead of moogles, I have house flies in my game. They give you info, help you out, and let you save your game.

Only the first few parts of Eraserhead, but Mullholland Drive, Blue Velvet, and Dune are some I'd like to see.

At first I thought he directed The Fly, but that was David Cronenberg. I've seen a few Cronenberg films.

Looks good, Matt. I like the fly idea... in an unsettling way. That floor pattern is making my eyes go bonkers and that's just a static image. Curious to walk around in there.

thanks, Travis. yeah, honestly I hate flies. they're a real problem here at my house in the warm weather and annoy the hell out of me. but i guess that hate is something I'm kind of examining with them being helpful "angel" like beings in the game. I dunno. it just kind of happened that way.

the floor is a nod from Twin Peaks, as I was talking about yesterday.

That looks cool. Haven't actually watched Twin Peaks, at least I don't think so. There's a ton of stuff I watched when I was younger and can't remember now.

I don't get it and I consider myself a Twins Peaks fan. Perhaps I need to rewatch it again to refresh my memory. I tend to forget certain shows for some odd reason.
