I really can't add anything helpful to this conversation. Does China even have game consoles from US and Japan? Digital download only future has its limits.
Gaming in other Countries

I never miss an important story. I always get most of questions answered but one I can't is playing consoles in different regions, primarily China. My wife is Chinese and I been to China a few times but never played on a home console there.
The last system I played was the PSP and a few PC titles (World in Conflict, Supreme Commander). That was ages ago. When I was there I was able to buy and watch any itune movies, tv shows, and such. I have also been to Singapore and could download games but not movies. Another example is the Philippines, I had a friend that couldn't download games there. He had to have his brother enter his account from the States to have it download in the Philippines on his PS3.
My question is can I download, game online, and download movies on PS4 and XB1? I don't expect to be living there. If it one day does happen then the ability not to play online and download titles would be devastating to me and would be reason enough for me never to live in China (although there are various other reason too). Can we do this in China? My connection through China is my wife who is helping her parents move to the States. I think it would be interesting to further no the restrictions we have in our access in other countries.
