Hey everybody!!!!  It's been a year since i've been here.  :)   I've been in/out the past month, reading some of the awsome BAD.   I've had an awesome year in music.  I am a drummer and during the summer and fall I was playing in 3 bands, working full time,  crazy busy and loving it.  Winter sucks a little lol.  Not as many local music festivals and events to play so I've been gaming more.

It is awesome to see all of you still on here keeping the gaming community going! !!

My game world has been up and down.  I pre-ordered a PS4 after E3 then cancelled it due to my lack of time for gaming.  I am glad I waited.  In the meantime.  I sold my PS3, Wii U and all my games on ebay.  I actually made 900.00.  Woo hoo!  I learned that if you want to get rid of a bunch of games, sell them individual at fairly cheap prices. It's a lot of work but worth it.  I sold everything in 3-4 days. Those huge Lot sales just did not work for me.

I told myself I would wait for a new system, but I could not resist Dead rising 3.

Anyway I spent time studying Playstation and Xbox.  Weighed Pros and cons....  I bought an Xbox One last month with Dead Rising 3.  I love the new system.  I love the Voice commands, instant switching.  The system is awesome.  Best of all I've had a blast gaming again.

It's good to be home again :)

I hope XONE gets a game that combines Dead Rising and Rock Band, and that I get to watch you play it.

Yes it's been a long time but good to see you posting again. The only system I'm interested in at the moment is the Wii U and I can't afford that so the point is moot.

I liked what I played of the Wii U, it just didn't have the games to keep me playing.  I grew a bit bored with Mario on it and prefer the 3ds for my mario fix.

Good to see a fellow drummer on here I have been playing for 40 years and loving every moment of it.

Playing drums keeps me sane.  My boss even tells me I'm a better person when I'm out playing lol.  I've only been playing since 2003.  I used to play guitar but didn't really get interested in it,  So I bought a cheap drumset and taught myself how to play.  Best investment I ever made!!  ....Yes it's great to talk to another drummer.

lol  Thanks.  You know I saw the Ghostbusters lego announcement and thought about you.  I'm not a consistent lego buyer, but am pretty excited for this one.

I'm excited to see these sets in stores. When Harold Ramis passed, Lego posted a pic of his Egon Minifig, I thought that was a nice tribute.

I wish I could get myself to sell all my old stuff for one new system and one awesome game like that. I get too attached to stuff.

It was hard at first, but those systems have really been sitting on my shelf and collecting dust.  I did keep my PS2, Wii, and 360.  My PS2 and Wii are also just dust collectors but i can't let go of those.  The games are just too good and offer a great slice of gaming history.

I got rid of my Genesis and SNES at one point because so many of the games were on collections and Virtual Console, but now I regret it.

I was wondering what happened to thee. No action on the blogs or online with the game systems. I see now why. Welcome back!
