Despite the suspicious timing, it seems Telltale isn’t kidding – it’s secretly produced a sequel to 2010′s Poker Night at the Inventory, starring Claptrap from Borderlands; Ash Williams from Army of Darkness; Brock Samson from The Venture Bros; Sam from Sam & Max; and even Portal’s GlaDOS.
Telltale Games’ Poker Night 2 is headed to Mac, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 via digital distribution, with more platforms to be announced, and you can get hold of it at the end of this very month.
By playing poker with your four virtual buddies (GlaDOS is the dealer), you’ll be able to unlock exsclusive customisation items for Borderlands 2 and Team Fortress 2, as well as PS3 themes and Xbox Live avatar items.
And my Android slash IOS game is......
The Japanese developer Kairosoft specialises in quirky, fearsomely addictive strategy games for Apple and Android devices. Dungeon Village is its latest engrossing title. This is a fantasy roleplaying game with a twist: although there’s the familiar setup of a peaceful kingdom invaded by uglies, you don’t play as one of the monster-slaying heroes. Instead your task is to build a town to act as their base. In a similar style to FarmVille, you have to juggle resources to build houses and businesses, but you also have to provide weapons and other items for your adventurers, as well as manage their quests to ensure they bring back plenty of loot. Prepare to lose hours of your life to this ruthless time-sucker.
